AustraliaWith this in mind we were very disappointed with the spa. When everything else is so great - the spa seems like it’s part of a different hotel in terms of quality and care. Whilst aesthetically designed quite well it practically doesn’t work as it needs to. Broken door locks, shower knobs missing handles, broken floors are minor compared to the fact that the Sauna could only reach 65C in the 2 days we were there and the steam room barely has any steam. The hotel said it was because people keep adjusting the temp from the remote from the outside which is possible but I find unlikely. Such a shame as this could be a really great place.
The Hotel is very beautiful with really nice design touches throughout. Staff is friendly and professional and made us feel welcomed. All the food we had on the property was great but a special shout out needs to go to MAPA whose tasting menu delivered us one of our top 3 meals of all time. Seriously every single dish was a banger.

Turkey- We stayed two nights and the main restaurant was closed during that days. The cafe was open, the food was nice but we were a little bit dissappointed regarding that. Opening days needs to be checked before reservation. - Bin baskets (which were both in toilet area) were not enough in the room. There is one needed in the living room which you have coffee/tea machine and some fruits on the table. It was not nice every time going to the toilet to use the bin. - During turndown service, bin baskets can also be refreshed. When I asked for that to the ladies they answered as they do not have the plastic bag. They were right but was not feeling good when our bin was full. - First night we received the lit service for our fire pit but second night we could not make it. We demanded service and waited more than one hour at our room's terrace somebody to came and lit the fire but nobody has arrived. We kept asking if he is coming or not and they said the service is busy but he will come asap. Then, they did not inform us regarding the unavailability of the service and we could not use the firepit. In these kind of cases, it is better to communicate and tell the situation as it is and create real expectations.

Once again thank you! + Housekeeping was also nice and doing great. + The breakfast which is served in the main restaurant was nicely prepared with fresh & quality ingredients. That we liked a lot. + Dining at the deck during sunset was like a dream. + The nature was full of serenity. + The rooms itself was simple and nicely decorated. + The privacy was well thought/ designed. + We loved the firepit in the middle of our terrace. + Since it was our anniversary there were complimentary welcoming gifts im the room. What a beautiful hotel, stunning location In Alentejo, really enjoyed our visit to the local town. The accommodation was superb, huge open style room and lounge area, huge bath! lovely shower, super comfy bed. We had a terrace and if you wanted your fire lit they would come and do that. Very nice complimentary bottle o wine in the room too with my name on it. Place was very quiet and peaceful.

BrazilNo big deals but 2 things: - No towel handlers in the bathroom; - We had to ask for soap reposition in the second night. Be aware that you'll be around 30 minutes from Evora. Montemor-o-novo is about 5 minutes drive and has plenty of services there (but no good restaurants or touristic points of view)
The hotel delivers everything it promises. The location is outstandingly beautiful and peaceful. Every little spot seems o be perfectly designed to be comfortable and with a relaxing atmosphere. the pool and lake are great, inside pool as well. The breakfast is incredible with eggs and coffee to order and great selection of pastries, cheeses, fruits, honey, etc. We had dinner in the deck one night what was also great. The room is big and comfortable.

SwedenWe book a Portuguese wine tasting, the wines were mostely good but we had hoped for a little more commitment and knowledge from the "guide". The cleaners forgot several times to refill toilet paper and tissues. Lots of bees and wasps in the grass by the pool, unfortunately I stepped on a bee and had an allergic reaction. The staff should have given a warning about this, since I wasn't the only one who got stung... As the room is so big, the AC wasn't really enough to cool down the hole room. Had to keep bedroom doors and window curtains completely closed during the day to be able to sleep. The bathroom was unfortunately very hot all the time, which was a bit difficult when getting ready for the evening. Most of the staff at the pool were very young and unexperienced, there were several misunderstandings, orders were forgotten and it took time to get service.
Fantastically beautiful hotel and environment! Pool area is so beautiful. We stayed in a sky view room which we really liked - very big and beautiful room. Very good breakfast (one of the best omelettes I've eaten at a hotel) - loved that they also have champagne ;) Many affordable and good wines in the winelist. The food was generally of a good standard. A little disappointed with restaurant MAPA which maintains a slightly uneven level - some dishes should have been better considering the price. We booked a dinner in the vineyard (a special event) - which was absolutely fantastic. So cozy, very nice staff and generous amout of wine.
