The bath room could be renovated, and the shower was unpractical.

It is a charming small hotel, very well located close to the Estoril train station and the beach (~5 min walk). It could need some renovation, but the small stains etc didn't bother us. The room was spacious with nice littke balcony, and the breakfast was good.

No atmosphere at all - like a ghost town although the hotel was fully booked. Pool very very deep.

Clean and fresh. Reception staff were lovely. Studio room nice and spacious and very practical for a couple and a toddler. Location near lots of restaurants and close to the beach. An easy 30 min walk from centre of Cascais too along the seafront.

The bathroom needs Renovation and had a strange smell. The entire building is pretty run down.

The Location is great! Very quiet and close to the Beach and Train Station which takes you to Lisbon.

High tourist tax at €4 pp per day. The hotel looked somewhat down at heel with cracked glass on our veranda and uncleared table when we arrived. Not sure the 4* classification is still warranted without better attention to detail.

The ridge on the floor into the bathroom where there was a sliding door. The door wasn’t attached to the floor. This made for a dangerous situation as the door wasn’t handle slot was lo and as you touched it the door would sway into the main room. The reason for my delayed response for my review is that I experienced a very nasty fall due to the bathroom entrance and door. The ridge = a 10 / 12 cm difference in floor level, higher in the bathroom.

Rooms - no amenities like coffee and tea, which I think should be basic . Lacking toiletries like toothbrush and lotion. These are just minor issues, but it would be a plus to the hotel's amenities . Breakfast - It would be nice to have a variety of food every morning, especially when stay is for more than a night. Some of the amenities should be repaired, I noticed the pool's ladder needed some fixing. The garden by the pool could be a perfect lounging area in good weather if there's proper seating furniture nicely placed and arranged. I understand that it's not the peak season, but irregardless of the season, it would be nice to stay in a well and nicely kept hotel, no matter what the star rating is.

It was a nice and quiet stay in Estoril. The hotel is just 5 minutes walk to the beach. Staff are warm and accommodating. I love the hotel's hallway scent. I stayed in a room with a balcony, and the room was okay. The bed was comfy enough. Availed of the hotel breakfast, which is a simple and basic breakfast menu. I like the bread most.. Weather cooperated, my 2 days stay was generally good.

The kitchen staff for breakfast were a bit moody. The rest of the staff, for example the reception and cleaners, were great, however.

Room 233 is very old. So old as Egyptian pyramids, I guess. Walls, furniture and floor are in scratches, no hot water (at least after the 22.00, when we tried to get shower). It’s a shame to provide such a room for guests. I didn’t say anything to personal only because I stayed 1 night. But it’s the worst stay I’ve ever met in Portugal

The hair dryer was extremely weak (had to push the button to keep it going) and it had such little power it took 30 mins. To get my hair (which is longer) dry. We stayed in the back building and the room was a Superior Studio. It was spacious, but dated. There was an extremely offensive smell on the first floor that appeared to be poisonous for bugs. The pool was ice cold! Staff were very friendly and helpful
