The owners of the albergue are great. They breathe the camino spirit. The pilgrim's dinner was very nice, both the food and the atmosphere. The pool and garden area are nice to hang out and relax. They offer breakfast in the morning. The albergue is clean and comfortable and on the way of the Portuguese camino.

The breakfast was very light, almost minimalist. It's more like a light snack. A bit disappointing, you just have to stop somewhere else (after two hours walking) and have a proper coffee and croissant!

We only stayed for one night, like most pilgrims on the Camino who pass through and continue on to Santiago. The hostess is lovely and does her job with enthusiasm. The room is very spacious, clean, and flawless. We didn't use the pool, but we did participate in the dinner offered (paid separately). A high-quality and beautiful place to recharge.

Very quiet. Great breakfast. Some of the nicest hosts I’ve ever met. She even did my laundry for me free of charge. They offer dinner if you ask, have a small water tank for swimming, and provide free rides to town

The breakfast was a bit late for me (7.30), because I was on camino and like to start early. But I stayed to eat it and started my walk a bit later and it was not a problem.

Swimming pool and very friendly staff.

Dorms were clean and comfortable but a little spartan.

The owners are what made this hostel so wonderful - warm, welcoming and genuine. What the Camino is all about. A modern building constructed on the old house ruins but lots of character. Bathrooms and dorm area generally, very clean and well maintained. Big garden with pool, lots of undercover areas to relax and hang out. Possible to have a massage and even reiki if you organise in advance. Lovely communal dinners organised most nights and great to sit around with fellow walkers and share stories.

I wish there was a fridge in the albergue for the guests' use. I could use the owners' private fridge but I would have felt less of a pain if I didn't have to ask the owners to store and retrieve my cheese for me. Or, if a common fridge is not desirable, I'd suggest indicating clearly in the description of the property that no fridge is available. However, this is just a small recommendation. The owners were on the whole very friendly, accommodating and hospitable, I wish them the best of luck and a lot of energy in keeping this place going.

The owner organizes a communal dinner, and it was one of the highlights of my whole camino trip. It may feel slightly forced at the start, but the atmosphere soon evolves into one of very relaxed, convivial sharing. The owner also gave me a new bed when she realized that a bottom bunk bed was vacant for the night (I had been assigned a top bunk bed originally), this was very nice. The villa itself is a cosy place.

Ana and Pedro are pilgrims at heart and they created this space to allow pilgrims or non-pilgrim guests to relax, recover and reflect. The dinners are restaurant quality (they also own and manage the amazing restaurant in São Pedro de Torre-Estação de Torre), which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thee pool on a hot day is all you need to know…

I was a little cold during the night. There was a second heavy bedspread available in the room, which I used, but no blankets.

We had a double room with private bathroom at this property. The best part of the stay was the pilgrim meal. Not the meal itself which was okay, (catered for vegans) but the opportunity to sit down with others from across the world and share our Camino experiences. This was only made possible by the host who did a little introduction before the meal started, to ensure everyone thought about breaking bread with fellow pilgrims and our achievements so far. Host encouraged joining even if eating own food. Use of a washing machine. Relaxing with our feet in the pool. Breakfast included although lack of non-dairy choice. (even with notice)

This is a real Alberg house. 100% real! Why? Because of owners. They are living for piligrimus. They are helping them to get a dinner breakfast ant rest for a body. It is max community which I lived for 100 reasons! DEFINITELY LOVE IT!!!!
