Location perfect within a 10 minutes distance to the center. Nice accommodation with everything you need. Breakfast served on the balcony. Any extra wishes just let Alexia know and she will manage it. Good value for money. Free parking nearby.

I just had the wonderful experience of staying at an amazing place that surpassed all my expectations. Its location was ideal, close to a variety of fantastic restaurants and shops, just 10 minutes away from the center of the city. In the same time it was very quiet at night which was very important for me. The host Alexia was amazing. Her genuine hospitality made me feel instantly welcomed. Her attention to details greatly enhanced my experience.

It was a little difficult to find.

The house was exceptionally nice. The room was rather large for an European room. We had a very early departure time and were not able to join them for regular breakfast so she left a basket with an express breakfast for us.

Sometimes we could smell bathroom pipes, but it happens in old town areas.

The owner is fabulous. Such a nice person. We were provided with everything we needed. Also, a quiet neighbourhood is a plus.

Excellent place, very well run. The sunset on the terrace after a day of discovering the city or the island is priceless. Our host was present but discreet, with a lot of small attentions and good advice. Absolutely perfect and better than anticipated for the price. Go without a doubt if you are lucky and the room is available.

Great location, close to the center but in a very quiet neighborhood, far from the city noise. Free parking spots along the road nearby. Very welcome host, we had an early leaving and she prepared us take away breakfast, taking notice of my intollerances. The room was clean, with all the commodities. I recommend Alexia!

The location is difficult to find at first. The taxi drivers didn't know the street. The streets up from the town are very steep.

Alexandria was very welcoming. The continental breakfast was excellent.

There really is no place to park. We had a miscommunication with parking our car. But I her than that… was a great experience!

I loved this room. We stayed here for 1 night before our flight and it was perfect. Close to restaurants and the harbor. The room was clean, updated and had air conditioning too! I would stay there again!

The room is very clean and comfortable. It has everything you need and it’s located near the old city centre. The host was amazing! She allowed us to leave the luggage at the apartment before the check-in since we arrived in Funchal very early. The communication went very smoothly! The morning after we found the breakfast box on the table with fresh fruit, croissant, bread and lots of other fresh food! Amazing!

Alexandra was a very attentive host and keen to please. Breakfast was outstanding with cereal, meat, cheese, yoghurts, bread rolls, pastries, fruit juice and a different fruit each day. The room was very clean and towels changed every other day
