It was very close to the beach and had plenty of nice walking trails. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing - we had a nice stay.

Our room, although tired and old, was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice, making sure we had everything we needed. They stored our bicycles behind the front desk for the days we stayed. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The location is perfect - one block from the beach and surrounded by cafes and restaurants.

The view from the top floor where breakfast is served of the bay is wonderful. Breakfast is really good.

Venerable older hotel building, with dated fixtures fittings and decor : but clean well run and very comfortable. Great location, helpful staff. Breakfast was fabulous : both the room (top floor with views) and the beautifully presented and very tasty broad choice buffet. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay thanks.

Location! Forgot to add to my previous review. The breakfast was so good. Fresh array of fruits and great coffee from the machine. Cold meats and cheese with fresh rolls. We had a problem with our car, and the owner went above and beyond to help. Thank you.

The only improvement would be to have a kettle and tea and coffee in the room, but there is a very friendly restaurant on the corner and the bar in the hotel for drinks whenever needed.

Family run, authentic, spotlessly clean, incredibly helpful staff and delicious breakfast. It is not modern, and slick which suited us perfectly. It was homely and comfortable and we felt safe and relaxed during our stay. Thank you!

Breakfast was ok. UK or Irish visitors might find it rather basic. (But the view from the dining room made up for it - stunning!)

Room was comfortable and spotless. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Location is terrific - just 50m from the promenade. Nice on premise bar too (with good prices)

The only minor thing is that the hotel is in a very old building, and one can see the passage of time on everything, from furniture to tiling. Everything was spotless, but here and there you can see the wear and tear of an old hotel. Understandable, since the city has been a tourist place for over a century, and you can sense the history of the place.

The hotel has an outstanding terrace on the third floor where you can have breakfast. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, 5 star in my opinion. Just enough choices to satisfy anyone, and not over-the-top to promote waste. Staff were very friendly, and were even very nice when we accidentally broke a bedside lamp, and insisted there was nothing for us to pay.

The bedroom is a bit old and needs some investment but still ok for a beach holiday
