This property is an oasis in the middle of Maia. It would make an excellent home base from where to explore Porto or Foz. It would make an excellent work retreat.

Lovely spacious garden to walk around. Fireplace worked wonderfully in the lounge and having the rooms with central heating made the rooms very coimfortable in the cold. The window shutters also worked well keeping out the light in the morning

Nice experience. We would return next time we are in Porto. Very comfortable beds. Calm place in the green, though very central. Very nice atmosphere in the house.

The entire stay was contactless. We aren’t usually the kind of people that need to see a host in person but in this situation, it felt almost robotic. My partner described the place as “techno-dystopian”. Everything is controlled by remotes, texts and codes. The spaces are pretty, we just thought it lacked warmth. The rooms felt minimalist and cold. I can imagine for some people, getting to restaurants and grocery stores might be difficult due to its location (for us it was no problem because we had a car).

I really enjoyed my stay here. The property promotes relaxation which I loved. I said multiple times that I could spend days there without leaving. The room was lovely - I really liked the shower. The yard is gorgeous! I felt childlike again - playing in the pool, on the trampoline, basketball, badminton and checking on the chickens. The common areas in the house were very nice. I’m always worried about the cleanliness of common areas but, to my surprise, everything was clean. It’s close to the airport which is what we needed.

Ideal for a stay close to the airport, far from Porto though for a longer stay

An absolute jewel, perfect in all its details. All details of the property were really 10/10, a true VFM deal. Pity it’s just for an airport stop over, due to its location. Don’t miss it if you want a stay close to the airport!

The blind on one of the windows couldn’t close so I would have liked to be able to shut it while I slept.

Everything was great, from being able to let myself in to the level of instructions provided and the homely feel of the room, it was extremely comfortable and welcoming.

The rooms are next to each other, the isolation was not good, the AA didn't work was in a central heating and was terrible hot.

The house is astonishing, nature, pool, parking, location wise.

Spartan conditions Only item in the room was a bed Could use a small desk and chair for a laptop Tv would not shut off with remote Groundskeeper showed me how to shut it off, but i would have to do it manually. First night i had to unplug it. Could use motion detector lighting in hallway. Free breakfast was only for "large parties"
