  “Very nice room with a large terrace that backs onto a quiet field with grasshopper sounds, not the busy main street. It was lovely to fall asleep to those sounds. The room is a good size. The host is very kind and helpful. The common area is peaceful and homey. The breakfast was small but lovely and just enough.”

  “The size and comfort of our well appointed one bedroom suite in this converted warehouse building was extra special , perfectly located next to the Douro river and an ideal space to relax after a days site seeing . It also had a well equipped kitchen for those wanting to eat in , although food options on the hotel and locally meant we didn’t have too ! The view over the port area to the main bridge was amazing . Breakfast was also exceptional and the location was ideal , with only a short walk over the bridge to the historic area of Porto across the river. And not to forget the staff who were friendly and helpful at all times. Can’t wait to go back !”
