The home was clean, quiet, and near everything! Im originally from Puerto Rico, so not having to stay in a hotel was great because it had all the comforts of home. The landlord is very accommodating. We were forced to stay an extra day because our flight back home was canceled, and he allowed us to stay another day!

Not much is available within walking distance (my wife forgot her toothbrush LOL!) but the uber rides were relatively cheap. No issues otherwise.

Checking-in was easy. We had a late arrival. Evelyn lives upstairs and was available when we arrived, during our stay and when we were leaving. She was very helpful. If you don't have a car you can user uber...most of the key places were 10-15 minutes away. We were expecting a few deliveries from Amazon and Evelyn collected and stored them in our absence. We did not meet the Owner but communicated via SMS and email and he was very responsive.

Three females (myself and my college-aged daughters) stayed at this location. The apartment was clean and well-stocked; the WiFi worked as promised, as did all appliances and the shower. We found the beds and furnishings comfortable and felt safe in the neighborhood; most evenings we didn’t get back until between 10 pm and 1 am. It was fairly quiet and close to the mall. We use Uber for all travel and had no problems getting a ride to and from Old San Juan. Each room had its own remote for the AC.

Staff Evelin was great, she make sure we had everything we needed, Staff was very friendly and very helpful, I definitely stay here again on my next vacation to PR, place looks great and very clean. A+++.

The number one thing I would change and would have made this rated higher was the beds have a thick plastic covering on them underneath the sheets. It was super loud and we could not sleep because the plastic was so loud. I think it definitely needs to come off and switched with a liner with no noise. It was so unfortunate because everything else was great! However, we did get locked into our main bedroom twice. Something is wrong with the door knob and it took a while to figure out how to open it. It was 2am so we didn’t reach out about it. We eventually got it open. Also, would be nice to have a baking sheet to use the oven.

It was a very nice condo with great air conditioning. The location worked well. Staff was very helpful. We are grateful for our stay!

There was a general outage in the internet service for the entire area. We were quicky informed by the Host of the issue. We were out and about most of the time so we did not really miss anything.

The location was accessible to all the main roads. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. All furnishings and necessities were available. The Host was very hands on and responsive to any inquiries. The private parking was covered and securely gated.

We had a few issues with the bathroom plumbing, first with the shower not draining and second with the toilet not flushing. When we let them know about the plumbing issues, they sent a professional to take care of it while we were out enjoying the island. I wonder if perhaps plumbing is a problem island-wide, not just at our rental. The biggest disappointment was that the refrigerator/freezer didn't work right and struggled to keep food and milk cold. The freezer wasn't any better. I put two big cups of Baskin Robbins ice cream in the freezer for later and when we went to enjoy it, the ice cream was completely liquified. Some suggestions for the property owners: get a better fridge/freezer, one that provides filtered water would be a plus; provide extra paper towels and trash bags, provide hand soap and hand towels for the kitchen; provide basic coffee fixings (we had to buy our own coffee, cream and sugar;) provide a towel or bathmat for the floor when exiting the shower to prevent slipping; improve shower water pressure if possible; provide oven mitts for cooking (and a rack for inside the oven) along with some basics, like aluminum foil, plastic wrap, sandwich baggies, etc; better quality toilet paper would be a huge plus; blankets for all the beds (the bunkbeds only had sheets); and please provide extra pillows. Also, there was a pullout sofa advertised when we booked, but when we got there it was just a couch, however, it was extremely comfy and one of us still slept on it every night.

The property owners were extremely accommodating and very patient with us given the language barrier. Evelyn is especially wonderful and so kind and generous. She gave me a salve to use when I strained a muscle hiking, which was above and beyond all expectations. The centralized location was just perfect, nestled in a quiet neighborhood away from big crowded tourist spots, but still with easy access to the main highway and tourist attractions. The air conditioning works amazingly well which is a must in the hot, humid tropical climate. The covered/gated carport gave us peace of mind, since you hear that vehicle break-ins are a huge problem in San Juan, but we never worried about it when we were "home."
