The breakfast was great Dorota & Anna went above and beyond. The scramble eggs were the best. Dorota saw me struggling with the coffee machine and made me the best carpaccio, And Frank was very welcoming. They all should be proud of themselves for how they conducted themselve. Would recommend Sowia Dolina to everyone

Our family really liked this hotel for vacation. We were with a small child and there is everything here for a comfortable vacation with a baby. Nice restaurant, clean rooms, beautiful and well-maintained territory, comfortable pool. You can see that it was done with a soul!) We will definitely come again!

The property is beautifully renovated but it is still a historical building. There are several sets of steps to enter the property itself and to access the rooms. I can imagine it can cause problems for people with mobility issues.

Great starting point for any hikers wanting to explore the Owl Mountains. Room was clean and spacious, very good equipped. Everything you need for a comfortable stay was supplied, including air conditioning, smart TV, and a kettle with tea and coffee. The beds are comfortable, and the bedding is of nice quality. The staff and owners are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast selection was excellent with high-quality traditional and international food. The restaurant had great traditional food, with a good selection. Definitely will visit again and would recommend it to everyone.

They close the kitchen at 8pm. We were very hungry from our road trip and we got there at 7.40pm and they told us the kitchen was already closed. So we had to go somewhere else with our car.

They have a nice breakfast. The rooms and villas were nice. The beds were comfortable.

Only small thing: the door to the bedroom in our studio was hard to close.

Very helpful staff, spacious and clean rooms. Good location if you plan to walk/ride in the mountains. Very good breakfasts (we travelled with kids, which are quite picky, but even for then there was always something attractive to eat). Swimming pool is small, but it was more than sufficient for us. Important: it is quite deep, without shallow zone, so suitable only for kids who can swim. Big area with many nice functionalities: tennis court, picnic zone etc. Everything available without additional payments.

The swimming pool looks bigger in the pictures but it is a small one. The hotel location felt remote when you see the map and the photos, while it is at the end of a village with cars and public bus passing by!

The use of sauna need previous reservation, so if someone else reserve you cannot use it. I think it should be open for use for everybody with a limit of persons.

We experienced issues with the bed in our room, and there were no curtains on the windows, which impacted our comfort. After mentioning this, an alternative room was arranged, which we appreciated. We believe that proper beds and curtains are basic standards for any accommodation, even a guesthouse. The owner responded constructively, but also suggested our expectations might be too high. In our view, these were reasonable expectations. Overall, if you value the historic charm and don’t mind basic facilities, this place could work for you, but be aware of the limitations.

Stayed for New Years 2023. Our two bedroom family room was clean with only minor ware such as a hand size area of wall paper that had peeled away from the wall (a quick easy fix but noticeable) and a crayon mark. The interior is well maintained with an old world feel on the second level and a fresh look in the dining area. Breakfast was simple with no hot foods but cold salads, breakfast cereals, breads, juices, and a nice coffee machine. Nothing to rave about because other reviews had me expecting a chef making custom omelets with bacon and pancakes. Dinners are ample portions with a single plate enough for two. My tomahawk steak was raw in much of the meat but the meat quality was decent. The owner is a great german guy and the type of man who would fix those minor issues in the room had I brought it to his attention but it seems he lacks proactive help that feels embarrassment with a guest noticing such things. Customer service was going very well save for the last lunch after checkout. We wanted to order another drink but found our server on a break in the next room eating but she called out a second server to help us (I know the german guest are accustomed to calling out for service so it is something they wouldn't notice)
