How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Absolutely everything. The kind and nice team, the place is perfectly located, right in the center but in a calm street, the place itself is fantastic. From most rooms (maybe all) you can see the central square on the side!!

The price was very budget-friendly. I booked a room for two. While basic, it was roomy and comfortable. I was really impressed with the shared bathroom facilities.. they were spotless and had plenty of space. The location is also very central, making it easy to walk to popular sights.

There is no elevator, only stairs. I do not find it a problem, but it may be for some people. I used to live on the second floor
A wonderful hotel in every sense of the word. The location was the best, the view of the square. Oh my God, the service and treatment were excellent. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The location is fantastic, just one minute from the main square. The rooms are clean, simply furnished, yet comfortable. What I liked the most were the windows, which give the rooms a classic old-town atmosphere. There is a restaurant located right beneath the hotel that serves excellent traditional Polish cuisine. Highly recommended! Just one piece of advice: the hotel recommends a nearby parking garage, take that advice seriously and park there right away. The hotel is located in the city center, where driving is restricted and finding a parking spot is nearly impossible.

The bathroom don't have curtains but some partial acrylic partition and the shower water spills onto the dry area of the bathroom.
Very clean, comfortable beds, fantastic location.

Great location - I was able to see Rynek from my window. Very comfortable beds, perfect size of the room and nice breakfast. Some things could need some fixing though - the sockets in my room were loose and therefore not necessarily safe. Plus the bed sheets had some stains and could do with a more proper cleaning or switching them out

It was our 3rd or 4th time in this place and some worn details in the rooms need to be refreshed or changed (floor trims, bedside lamps, TV Signal). But we will come back since there is no comparable price/value offer during trade fairs.
Great location, spacious room and bathroom, really great price for room with own private bathroom in the centre of Poznan during big trade fair.

Everything was great, the only thing was that water in the shower turned cold after a while, but shorter showers would've solved the problem :)
Fantastic room with a view of the Old Town. Very nice buffet breakfast with lots of choices.

Breakfast could have been more varied. Mattress was OK but could have been more comfortable.
Very polite and helpful staff (receptionist and cleaning lady). Very clean. Perfect location. Very limited but satisfactory breakfast.

That is in the Centre of Poznan , Amazing staff, beautiful food, easy access for all transportation (5min walk to luas which takes you to train station)

Located right at Stary Rynek. Trams and buses super close. Clean room and bathrooms , and tasty breakfast. Superb restaurant below with traditional Polish food

The only thing is that when I wanted to entry on friday, there was nobody to show me the Room at the reception and I had to wait 30minutes
It’s cheap, and has wonderful location - I have already booked another 3 status there

The area is a bit noisy at night. It may bother you if you’re a light sleeper (like me).
Everything is great. The staff are super nice and they recommend us some good places to visit in Poznan.

The room, bathrooms are great. The place is easy to find, but you should pay attention to enter the building from the corner, described in the hostel's message.
