How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It is not in the center of the city so you may spend some money on taxi.
The hotel looks to be pretty new. No signs of wear and tear. All is very clean. The room was bigger than you usually get. Great breakfast. We got big bags of food on the check out day because we had to leave before the breakfast time. The hotel has a big restaurant with delicious food and huge portions.

We liked it all
Comfortable, clean, large room with nice outlook. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Everything worked as it should. Attached restaurant had a lovely garden and good food.

Pillow was not comfortable. It might be a subjective thing.

From the outside, the hotel doesn't look like much, but the room was very comfortable and the breakfast exceptional. I would definitely recommend it.

Very nice hotel with free parking. Staff was friendly and room and bed comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and with different options. Next to hotel good restaurant for dinner.

There was in country side and nothing nearby but peaceful. You need to check it before booking.
There was nice place and so clean. And next building what is restaurant had reasonable price with service so We had good meal just in walk there. And also breakfast was good.

A bit remote, not much to do in the neighborhood.
Very nice room and facilities. Restaurant on site is great with some tasty local fare and great burgers.

Location was rather strange; a newly-built suburb, still being developed.

Breakfast was great. Good selection of fruits, vegetables, and main courses. Room was really great and spacious, which was unexpected. There is a charger for EV in courtyard

Breakfast was a little small, the Dairy products where not in the cold, and in the middle of summer to keep the yoghurt in a hot room, it’s not good for the bacteria.

The breakfast was very limited, especially for vegetarians, with only two cereals, one very kids oriented, only hot choice was scrambled eggs, unless you eat meat, and very limited fruit. The coffee machine was very good though. However, the breakfast room is too small which meant on one morning we had to sit in reception waiting for a table to become available. That’s a first for me in 60 years of traveling and countless establishments (around 60 in the last twelve months alone). One final niggle, mostly at Elocity, is that the chargers have an overstay fee. On rapid chargers that is right, but on slow chargers like these it can mean your car finishes charging at 1am and you are expected to get up and move it ??? That’s just profiteering
The quiet out of town location was perfect for us, together with free parking and an EV charger (Elocity). The room WAS also great, with a kettle, individual AC, and a decently comfortable bed. There is also a decent restaurant on site and a nice garden to relax in if you have any spare time. Shame about the breakfast.

The coffee could be a bit better but Im being picky also you can sometimes hear conversations in the rooms next to you but other than that I loved Hotel Platan.
Really nice and clean room with aircon if needed. Overall it's super comfy and spacious. The bed and pillows are great. Everyday they make your bed and give you clean towels if you want them. The shower is great. There's free parking and a restuarant right next to the hotel. The breakfast is really yummy. Would definetely stay here again!! There is a zabka, an icecream truck, a supermarket Stokrotka and a pharmacy super close by. Also its quite close to get to the city by car or taxi.
