There wasn't any toilet paper in the room. At 8:15 there was a loud bang on the door to invite us to breakfast. Some things were already finished at the breakfast buffet and had not been replaced for us. Apple pancakes had too much baking soda in them. Despite the price being really affordable, next time I would choose something else even it is more expensive.

We stayed just one night in the hotel, it's conveniently located, room was clean, check-in smooth.

The door to a shower was broken in my room - it did not hold in the rails. When closed, there was a big gap. The restaurant was closed which was a pity.

A good location for a reasonable price. A receptionist was friendly and prepared a breakfast box for me as I had to leave early.

Everything was great, oh, maybe they can fix shower holder in bathroom but that is only thing that could be better.

One of the most affordable places in region it exceeded my expectations a lot! Very tidy, super friendly staff and you get breakfast included and they bring to to your room at whatever time you want, i got mine 06:30. Evening nice place to run/walk around lakes and some good places to eat there as well. Everything was great, loved my stay. Hot shower, with strong pressure, TV, radio alarm, included water, snacks and morning coffee 3 types. Peeeerfect stay, 10000% recommended!

We arrived a little late but it was no problem, our apartment was ready and the host was expecting us. The building looks great from the outside with the wooden terrace of the traditional restaurant. Parking is very convenient in front of the building. All was wonderful inside too: big, clean apartment, great kitchen with big refrigerator, stove, oven and all you need to prepare or to serve food, relaxing beds and sofa, nice sitting area. The breakfast in the traditional restaurant was very good. We highly recommend the apartment here for a great stay with the family.

The minus of authentic old furniture is that it's, you know... old. I was somewhat afraid to use it. Note for fellow allergy sufferers: it _is_ an old building. If one has troubles with staying in old village houses, it'd be better to proceed with care (I took my medicine in the evening and was fine, but still it's a thing to consider).

Amazing historic hotel for a very reasonable price. You can enjoy your breakfast overlooking the beautiful town of Elk.

It would be convenient, if the hotel entrance was somehow always accessible for hotel guests once they have checked in. Walking in and out through the long corridors via restaurant seems a bit pointless.

The hotel is absolutely good value for the money. The hotel itself is old and old-fashioned, the building his far to big for its purpose. The hotel owner obviously shows great effort to keep it in a good shape. The restaurant had one menu they served that evening, which means, it is freshly cooked by them selves. It was delicious homestyle cooking! The breakfast can't hardly be beaten! I habe really seen a bigger choice of delicious items!

Check-in time shown on booking.com is incorrect. Reception was closed when we arrived. Phone indicated on the reception's door did not answer. We were lucky to reach the host by phone indicated on booking.com, so we got our apartment. Breakfest - eggs+ mainly some cheese/ham and little vegetables; not all the food was refilled, so we had less choice as guests who had breakfest before us.

Apartment was quite large. Coffee and tea available, well equipped kitchen. Nice scrumbled eggs for breakfest. Although we had some language difficulties, the host was nice.

Our apartment was located on the top floor with a very strange route getting there - some side staircase next to staff and service rooms.

Nice rooms in an old building, quiet location, next to the lake. The breakfast was splendid. We had a separate apartment which had a nice small kitchen and everything what may be required.

Due to overbooking we could not stay at the very nicely located hotel. However, the polite owner took care of a replacement accommodation in the village. We were compensated for the inconvenience with a very delicious dinner. Very friendly service. Breakfast at the hotel very good.

Amazing place, close to the city center, but on the lakeside. We had beautiful view to lake when having delicious breakfast and owner was very nice! When staying in Elk, we will come here for sure.
