There was no air conditioning in the room, though it stayed reasonably comfortable even when it was around 30°C. Only basic soap was provided—no additional toiletries. Also, there were no mosquito screens on the windows, which could be an issue if you prefer to sleep with the windows open.

The breakfast was good, though simple. The property has the charm of an older-style hotel but has been nicely renovated—everything was clean and well maintained. It’s located in a quiet area away from the more hectic bazaar-like streets, which we really appreciated. We also had a lovely balcony with a view of the forest, which made the stay even more relaxing.

Not a lot of people speak English. Bit on the expensive side for what you get. Difficult to find the good places to ski/ board.

Perfect location, close to city center, right nearby the mountains. Calm place, perfect view, good buffet breakfast, kind & friendly staff, very clean room, the cleanest bathroom, just perfect facilities, swimming pool, jacuzzi. Various parking places in the street & garages. Not overcrowded place, ideal both for an active weekend & family rest.

Beautifully located - you can get out of hotel and start hiking immediately. At the same time center of Zakopane is not that far. Rooms were nice, very clean. Tasty breakfast, with variety of food and everyday they served something different. The little pancakes made with kefir were absolutely delicious! Super nice that sauna is available; everyday pass ito Termy Zakopiańskie was just superb. Great hotel!

Sometimes smell of fume, maybe from fire heating. The room furniture is not modern but OK.

The hotel looks much better in reality than it seems from the pictures. Located at the edge of the city, in a very quiet and calm street, main street ~10min walk. We booked a big apartment with 2 seperate rooms, bed was comfy, heating was sufficient. Breakfast was fine, everyday something diffferent was offered. I was confused what wellness services are in the pension building so I took photos aff all wellness facilities that are directly at the building. Wellness was really clean and each day, we were nearly alone down there so we really enjoyed it. We did not even used the free admission to the Zakopane aqua park, as onsite services were good. All in all very good hotel for the price

When we arrived and got to the room, we realized it's without balcony. Although it was clearly added in the list of amenities and mentioned in the description of the room in Booking.com. At first, hotel manager tried to blame it on us, saying that we didn't request a balcony and didn't contact the hotel that we want a balcony (then why it was mentioned in the list of amenities?!). After some discussions, they upgraded us for 2 nights (out of 4) to apartment which had a balcony and gave us a bottle of wine. After these 2 nights we had to go back to our twin room. This was the best how the hotel could help us as all the rooms were booked and we were thankful for that. And more - our room (Nr. 5) was on the first floor and window lead to a commonly used terrace. We had some instances when we were changing our clothes in the room and children were running around the terrace - so, right behind our window. So yes, privacy in the room was an issue. Also, if we'd keep our window open, anyone could climb into our room. Which was not nice feeling at all. The smell in the first floor of the hotel was... something. I cannot even explain it, but it smelled like some chemicals all the time there. We didn't enjoyed the smell at all. Overall, despite the really nice food and friendly staff, I wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel is located in great part of Zakopane - very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, yet main street is only 10 min walk away. Also close to some of the hiking trails. The breakfast was good and tasty, nice variety of food. When we went hiking on a very early morning, we were able to pre-order our breakfast packed and these were some of the best packages we've received on similar occasions.
