Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

EstoniaThe hotel clearly need a refresh - the design is bit outdated and the furniture is worn. For future guests: finding a parking spot can be challenging on certain days. When we arrived, there were only two spaces available in total - both outside and in the garage combined. I recommend updating your Booking.com page. At the moment, when searching for accommodation for 4 people (2 adults + 2 children), the only option offered is to book two “twin rooms with extra bed,” even though two regular twin rooms would be sufficient. If you select the offered option of two “twin rooms with extra bed” and simply note that you do not require the extra beds, the system automatically changes the number of guests to two, removing any indication that we intend to visit with two children. I sent a separate message to the hotel via Booking.com to clarify that we would be arriving as a family of four and would not need extra beds. I received a reply confirming they understood and had added a note to the booking. However, upon arrival, the reception staff were still surprised that we had children with us. This is a confusing setup - please adjust your listings.
The staff were very friendly, and the parking garage under the hotel was convenient. Breakfast was OK.

United KingdomThere was a bit of confusion when I checked in that they did not seem to know I had already paid but this was quickly resolved and there were no other issues.
The hotel was out of the centre but easy to reach by bus or tram. The staff spoke good English and the hotel was safe and clean. The room looked a little dated but was good. I really liked the cold water machines on each floor and it was be a good thing if other Ibis hotels had them. The price I paid was excellent and included breakfast which was very good though I stuck to the cold buffet which was very tasty.
