How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It was far from the train station but it doesn’t really matter. Hope they also have electric fan as an option when staying.
It was cheap but also clean and descent. They are very accommodating and promising a payment when booking is a great deal as well.

Everything was fine except for one thing. The keys to the apartment, room and entrance were not written. The lock on the front door is old and does not open well with the key. So at first we thought that none of the keys fit. Then we called the administrator for a long time, but it was night and no one answered. We didn't know what to do anymore. We stood under the door with keys in our hands and could not get into the hotel. Then by some miracle I managed to find a key and we got in. But the feeling was not pleasant.

Wasn't clean enough in toilets. And the smell from the sink and from the rag for the wiping floor after taking the shower. And in the shower water didn't went well too the drain and we needed to wash starting in the dirty water. We were in the apartment on the upper floor in number 5...
Good price. We liked kitchen.

Room was smell so bad for 3 days(cigarette smell), I booked double but got two single😔.
Private room, discrete entrance ,common area was cleaning daily. Profesional gym for free on the side. WiFi,

It was a bad wifi connection on our floor, often disconnecting. And also it was an annoying awful smell from garbage cans next to the entrance.
Hostel was clean, comfortable and quite, all facilities were good. And also a good price :)

The WIFI connetion was not stable enough for me.
The location of the hostel is very good because it is close to Forum shopping center and the UKW university building. The reception is 100 meters away from the hostel.

The room was dirty, there were hair everywhere. It smelled like fish and cigarettes. We've ordered a room with one bad for two persons and got a room with two small beds.

Our double room anex didn't have windows that open!! It was 35c outside and they don't offer a fan! You are literally melting in the room so we had to keep our door and main building door opened to get any air! Also although their website states they have hairdryer they don't have one. The worst bit was cleaning service banging and vacuuming communal areas at 7am!! People check in to hotels etc cos they travel from far and need rest for the upcoming busy day!
You pay for what you get. Location opposite small grocery shop. And near by Bar Mleczny with lovely dinner options.

Difficult to find the location even with the Google maps as the reception is at different location and rooms are in different location. Other than that staff and facilities are good

The absence of contact to the property cancels out all the advantages. In emergency situations I advise you immediately call the POLICE, because you will be left alone with a problem. We had AWFUL and unpleasant situation! There were 4 rooms in the apartment and in other room nearly 10 young guys and girls made a party, drinking, noisy, shouted, vomiting in the toilet, music WHOLE NIGHT!! till 8 morning we couldn't rest no one minute! And next day 15 hours trip by trains with a small baby on my hands! The stuff didn't forget to notice about penalty for 5000 zl for organising parties, but impossible to avoid and control! Other guests should suffer. We tried to call them all night! What was the worst - the owners didn't contact us not that day, not next days, totally ignoring. So no responsibilities at ALL. I hate such attitude and never met before! No excuses, no compensation, nothing. I regret that we didn't call police. It was dangerous to stay there as many guys and i was with 1yo baby! We paid for that?? Just disgusting attitude
