Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New and clean apartment. Close to a shopping mall. Big balcony. Good and various appliances . Good parking place for additional cost

UkraineНЕ РЕКОМЕНДУЮ!!! ПЕРСОНАЛ ЖАХЛИВИЙ. The staff. It's horrible. We had clear instructions "put the key in the mailbox when leaving", we locked the apartment and did so. For half a day we then received messages and calls from the staff with with insulting accusations that 1. Why did you leave the key inside the apartment? (how is that possible if the apartment is locked). 2. You didn't put the key in the mailbox! As if we took it for ourselves! Why do we need him at all? A nightmare. Unfounded accusations due to his incompetence. In the end, no one explained the situation or apologized!
There were all the necessary utensils and a kettle.

IsraelThe staff was unfriendly, didn't speak english and unpleasnt. No reception and no one to talk to or ask for things. I had only one roll of toilet paper for 3 days and didn't have anyone to ask for more. At my first day i arrived early before check in and wanted to leave my luggage and they didn't agree. Also, i wanted to know how to get it the premesis and had no directions. Awaful ex perience!!!

IrelandBecause we arrived after 10pm we had to retrieve our apartment key's from a night duty officer. There was no door bell or busser to use to contact the night officer. I had a phone contact number but my phone was block from making calls. A stranger helped me and made the call which resulted in us getting the keys. It would not be hard for the apartment owners to have an intercom on the door, this would have made the situation much better. I also did not like the fact that ZaKou terminated my original booking , stating that my card could not be verified. This was not correct as my card was verified by Booking.com with my original booking, When I booked again with the same card, the price was doubled. Watch out for this underhanded way of operating.
The apartment was well equipped and clean. The apartment was a 5m walk to the nearest tram stop and a major shopping center and 10-12m for the city center by tram.

United Kingdomthere was only half a roll of toilet paper for 3 days. plenty of dust under bed. key from a front door fasten and working really hard in general. they cancelled my trip on booking even though money was collected, resulting in me not receiving the booking reward. different people were giving mixed messages on the line - deposit 1000zl per department; no deposit at all. at the end we didn’t pay the deposit but it seems like a fraud.

BelarusApartment floors are not clean (my white socks go black in 20 min and when i dropped my clothes on the floor it had tons of light hair (not mine) after pick up), bad smell in the apartment, damaged furniture, water from the shower cabin goes out, no soap in the bathroom, they have washing machine, but there's no washing gel/capsule, mattresses need a change, lots of hair everywhere
