Rooms have poor sound insulation and look much older and dirtier than in the pictures. The staff were unfriendly and initially refused to change our room, claiming that all rooms shown on Booking were already reserved. Only after I mentioned I would write an honest review did they miraculously find one last available room.

I really didn't like the plastic mattress topper, we are not toddlers. It's loud when you move and makes you sweat. It's also not clean, neither were the brown bed spreads. Those in our room had very big marks under. Showers really need updating and shower heads and sink taps cleaning from scale. You can also see black scale/dirty in the loo when walking into the bathroom meaning that loos also need a deep clean.

The staff is super friendly and helpful however none of the suggestions given even over the year ago have not been taken to the account like the very uncomfortable mattress in the top floor apartment has still not been replaced a year and a half later from reporting it, stopping is from booking that room. We also reported an internet point on the 1st floor not working and we have not seen anyone trying to fix it. I wish that constructive suggestions would be taken seriously. We were very impressed with the lady working at the bar most breakfast times we were there. I didn't get her name but she was there during our stay Monday and Tuesday. She didn't stop working. The other days when there were other staff members and we came for breakfast after 9, all tables were dirty and 2 ladies were busy charting. They didn't clean any tables either for us or during all the time we were there.

Never had so many disappoitments in one hotel for one night of staying. 1. The description of the hotel promised sauna. Actually, that's why, having a choice, I opted for this hotel. The first thing I learned upon arrival is that sauna is unavailable simply because it does not work, 2. Air conditioning was partially broken: I could only turn it on/off and select temperature, but could not select mode and fan speed. The receptionist confirmed that this is the way it is, the hotel management knows that. 3. The receptionist was kind but was regularly absent for a long time (at least once she was absent for more than an hour). 4. The towels looked like rags (see photo). 5. The blankets were so thin that I was lucky having two beds for me alone: I needed the second blanket even having set air conditioning at 24°C. 6. The curtains were so thin that I woke up not when I planned but when the morning sun decided that I have slept enough. 7. The walls between rooms were not soundproofed, so that until 23 I heard somebody's talking in one of the neighboring rooms. I was lucky that none of my neighbors watched TV. Enough reasons to avoid this hotel if possible. However, I did not try other hotels in the neighborhood, so that I cannot say if there is a better choice nearby.

I'm surprised I didn't got stuck to the carpet. It wouldn't be that bad I guess spiders would keep me company.
