How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Heat was not on although it was bit chilly outside. Ventilation blew cold air directly to bed.
Location is excellent - just around the corner from the main street but still easily walkable. Breakfast was marvellous.

Unfortunately the AC was not working in the room, but the temp was ok. Could be cooler.
The room was big enough, with lots of space to store your stuff. Spacious bathroom Gluten free breakfast options

The bed could perhaps be wider.
Great location, just a few steps to waterfront, city center, WWII museum, "zegluga" - ferry to Hel. Nice staff, clean comfy room, delicious breakfast with a wide selection, good coffe. Next time in Gdansk we definitely stay here.

The layout of double room with the head of the bed alongside the door to the bathroom was not ideal especially as there was small clear glass strips on the door so not the most private.
Location was excellent, very central and close to the old town. Room was very clean.

room was a bit dissapointing we were on the first floor window outlook was over the car park and noise from car park from 6am was annoying people talking car engines ticking over. bed was very comfortable but the duvet was the same size of the bed every time you turned over duvet fell off brochure for tv stated over 50 channels but we could only get 3 german channels complaint to reception to no avail as a reset was still no good
reception on arrival was very welcoming all the staff were above and beyond and was spotless clean bed was very comfortable breakfast was very tasty and plenty of choice short walk to plenty of restaurants

Unfortunately, my trip was delayed and I missed one night of the stay. I’d let the hotel know as soon as I could but still had to pay for 2 full nights ei tbh no adjustment 😔
Great location, comfortable room. Super close to the main promenade of Gdansk, just need to cross the street. Stuff is very helpful and they ordered a taxi for me to meet me at the train station

Nothing significant. It was not perfect, but close to perfect, and the value for money was much better than the usual. I guess it could be too expensive if you are coming as a tourist and your budget is limited. But for its facilities and location it is a really good choice, if the price is acceptable.
The room was spacious and had everything needed for a single traveller. The luggage rack was most appreciated. There was also ironing device and a coffee machine. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety so that even after five days you could still try new options. And of course the location, right near the canal in the old town, so that in 5 minutes you can be immersed in beautiful Gdansk.

I don't like bathroom cabins where the door doesn't fully enclose the shower area. It always gets the whole floor in the bathroom wet.
The breakfasts were exceptional, very different from the normal "continental" breakfasts in other hotels.

Even though services are fine, the hotel layout and construction bring a budget hotel in mind. The lobby is small and corridors and stairways narrow. The location is ok, but the immediate neighborhood brings image of a suburb.
Hotel is new and tidy and personnel does its best. Breakfast was tasty. Hotel restaurant and reception personnel are nice.

The elevator was broken and my girlfriend got stuck there, we didn't get any apologies for that from the management, which was weird

The bathroom was a wet room which meant everything got wet when having a shower, we may have been in a disabled room but it felt impractical for us. Also the mirror is inside the wardrobe door that opened to the bathroom blocking going in and out.
The location was excellent! The rooms were spacious and clean
