How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I liked the design of the apartment. It was very confortable. Communication with the owner was easy and continious via Whatsup. It was easy to find the apartment and enter using codes.

The apartment is located in the 4th floor and has no lift/elevator. It was a bit hard for the elderly people to access. Other than this, everything was perfect.
It is located near to many attractions and easily accessible. It was really a spacious apartment that a family can enjoy.

The apartment is beautiful and very stylish. The location is 10/10 and the communication with the host was so nice. We can't recommend it enough, we had the most wonderful stay.

The only problem was lack of luggage store, in the apartment. there where luggage stores, somewhere else, 400-500 meters away, but we didn't want to pay around PLN 180, for about 2-3 hours.

The property is beautiful and in a fantastic location. It has everything you would possibly need. The communication from the host was also great. I highly recommend this place.

Since the apartment sleeps eight people, it would have been nice with two toilets.
The apartment is very spacious with nice beds and furniture. Convenient with two showers when traveling with four teenagers. Location is great and directions from the friendly landlord clear.

Probably the fact there is only 1 toilet and no lift.
An ideal location in the old town close to all the restaurants etc. The apartment was beautiful, very comfortable and had everything we needed for the 6 of us. One of the rooms is located at top of the stairs outside of the apartment but this is not a problem. Also up 3 floors and no lift but not too bad.

The third bedroom was separate to the main flat, although adjacent to it, which for a family stay was a bit odd. There are 2 bathrooms but only 1 toilet. The flat is next to and across from building sites so not in the hub of things.
It was clean, comfortable, modern and in a good location for the old town and the WW2 museum. It had plenty of space for a large group to spread out or be together. It had plenty of crockery, a great coffee machine and coffee provided. Ola is very quick to answer questions and we were able to leave our bags on the day of arrival, although not on the day of departure.

Milk would have been a bonus but it didn’t really matter as shop close by.
Host was very informative. Perfect location, warm and comfortable. Fully equipped.

The apartment was everything we hoped and very clean and comfortable. The provision of information was perfect and we felt at home immediately. The location and appointment of the apartment made our stay in Gdansk that much more special.

Honestly, we had no issues - couldn't have been happier!
The apartment is cozy and very comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. Two bathrooms with spacious showers, one has a toilet and the other a washing machine. There are 3 flights of stairs to reach the apartment, but they are not an issue. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies, including coffee. Bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable. Excellent location - 15 minutes walk to the train station, on the edge of Old Town, and easily walkable to many shops, restaurants and the shopping centre.

The apartment accommodated 6 people and there were two showers but only one toilet which was a little rough. Also a minor hang up was that there was no lighting under the cabinets over the stove and sink making it very hard to see when cooking or doing dishes in the evening.
Clean and spacious. Excellent location close to restaurants and attractions. Filip was excellent in assisting us with an issue when we arrived and all information regarding check in was clear and concise.
