How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

If I had to choose one thing it world be the stairway entrance. It gives a bit of a scary first impression. However, this was not a big deal for us.
Location was unbelievable, apartment was spacious, clean, and just the right balance between modern and vintage.

Everything was excellent!
Everything was just PERFECT! Location, cleanliness, super host! We were allowed to keep our laggage stored after the check out, which was really great! Definitely we will be back!

Tricky, not always easy access.
Location in the heart of the old town, comfortable, well equipped, well designed. Fully recommend.

Noisy with window open for fresh air, so had to use air conditioner to mask the noise, but the vent was not plumbed in, so you had to poke it out the window to remove the hot air coming out of it. No side table beside the bed Would be better if it was made clear in the entry directions how to get out of the inner courtyard, rather than saying you have to find alternative ways to get out, because the only way out is hidden down one end of the space and is not easily seen.

The portable air conditioner did not sufficiently cool the apartment and the window had to be left open for it to work. The air conditioner should be properly installed with a hose sufficiently long to fire through a hole in the window vs having to leave the window open which defeated the purpose. There were fans in the bedrooms but the first night of our stay was so hot that it was uncomfortable. We have never seen such a small hand soap for the bathtub and sink. More toiletries would have made the stay even better.
Location was great. The apartment was clean. Hosts were easy to communicate with and allowed an early check in. The beds were firm and the apartment was spacious. Wifi worked well.

They didn’t have a space to store your luggage.
The location was spectacular to explore and be in the center of old town.

The drain in the shower didn’t work too well, but that didn’t harm our staying. It would be also nice to have some kind of manuals available for the cleaning machine and the air conditioning machine.
Location was perfect! The apartment was clean and nice. There were everything we needed for our few days staying.

We would have appreciated a little more bathroom amenities, like soap and toilet paper.
The apartment is wonderful - spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable. And the location is perfect.

Insane location, you exit right on the Old Town Square. Weekend public transport pass was a blessing, includes all types of public transport. Lazienki Park is a beautiful park and definitely worth a visit, keep an eye open for the Chopin concerts in the park during the summer months.

There was nothing that could have been improved. All was easy and practical to work with.
After a few complications, entirely due to my lack of internet whilst in transit, we were given all the help we needed (and more) with our check in. All in all it was a delightful experience staying at this venue which was ideal for winter sightseeing!!

Few details with property equipment ( example lack of shelf below the mirror in the bathroom for cosmetics ) Few unnecessary furniture, example laundry machine instead of additional cabinet for dishes. Sofa should be cleaned.

The doors to the bathroom and bedroom have to be opened in a certain order or you get stuck - but very manageable!
Perfect size and location. Staff were helpful at sorting somewhere to leave our bags on the last day. Quiet courtyard but close to the action. Ground-floor flat was good for pregnancy!
