Room 101. Burnt hole in shower tray. Probably from some stupid guest. I'm guessing it will be fixed as soon as possible. No big deal, just a little two-part putty, then sanding and painting. Loose shower hose holder with a loose seal. Also nothing complicated to fix.

I was satisfied. Standard accomodation with all you need for one or two days stay. Free and safe parking for car is bonus.

First of all it’s a good review considering the price you pay. This place is very old school but most importantly clean and a good place to sleep. Don’t expect much more than that. Location is perfect, close to the railway station.

It was very noisy where you would hear everything going on outside and in the rooms next to yours. The neighbor was watching tv until very late, which made it difficult to fall asleep.

Great location. I was only there for a night between trains, and it was everything I needed. My train the day before got delayed, which meant I would arrive after the reception had closed. Luckily, the receptionist helped me make it work, and I arrived safely at my room.

Practical and cheep accomodation for cyclist who don't need high 5 starts hotel. There is small bakery shop with very nice lady ;) in the street - good for breakfast and also train station is about 200m far. P*

The staff doesnt speak good english and the hallways smelled like smoke!

The accomodation was right in the centre in a nice area. Everything you need is closeby. The staff was very helpful and we were allowed to leave our bikes inside.

The curtains weren't blackout, the lights were in too early in the morning. During the night, I woke up due to noises in the street.

Everything was as specified. Price/performance is good.

The only negative are the mattresses: they are way to soft for our liking. Ok for one night, and we would definitely come back, but if you have back issues, this is something to consider.

We didn't expect too much, but were actually surprised: for its price, this is a very nice place to stay! Obviously an ageing building and business, but we found the room to be clean and spacious, the shower pleasant and the common kitchen reasonably equipped with a nice dining room to sit and meet other travelers. Our bicycles were stored safely inside the lobby; supermarkets and restaurants are nearby.

I am returning guest, you get what you pay for, it's a decent place for one or two nights. The staff is friendly, the location is great (around the corner from the train station. I only wish they would solve their wireless internet issues. Get more bandwith add a few repeaters.

I would return again. Good value for money.

Older hotel with no lift. It is several km from Oder Neisse Radweg, over the island in the River.

Located near central Kostrzyn and near retail, bakeries, coffee shops. Large room. Bicycle storage in room supervised by front desk personnel; good value. Old fortress is a medium walk away.

We asked to be placed on a lower floor and received an e-mail answer: "Yes, of course". When we arrived we were told that we could have a lower floor but with an additional charge.

Only one spot in my room to plug in and charge my GPS, computer, phone and camera. Not enough and people stood outside my window on the street and smoked. Smoke came inside my room. Not nice. Also no bedside stand for clock etc

Staff at the counter were nice and there was a safe spot to store my bike overnight.

- almost no staff members speak English or German - could be cleaner - sheets no big enough for mattress, mattress has no cover, just not hygienic - in summer suffocating - thin walls, but other guests are remarkably quiet.

Shower was very good, but the wall fixture for the shower head was a bit loose. A trash bin in the main room, not only bathroom, would have been useful.

This is a great value for money mid-level hotel very close to the train station. My room was very spacious, quiet, clean, comfortable with a large sofa, comfortable bed, good heating, working/eating table, good lighting. Staff are kind and helpful. Wifi is good/acceptable. There was a very good high-end water kettle in the room, and use of a kitchen on the 3rd floor was possible. There is a comfortable reception area with possibility of seating/conversing. Various shopping is close by, and some restaurants/buffet, cafes, and a large central park with fountains, outdoor activity.
