How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Friendly staff, very clean and bed very comfortable. Also great breakfast. Location is perfect, close to jewish quarter. The only small minus is that the front room faced a busy road and trams were rattling late into the night...luckily we had ear plugs :).

We had a room at the front of the hotel, and the noise from the trams going past was sometimes loud, although the windows were well insulated.
Excellent breakfast service and gluten-free options available. Beds are very comfy. The rooms are spotless. Location was excellent. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

As for any hotel on a street with tramway, we can hear the noise of trams. However, not loud at all in rooms on the other side of the street.
Room well-equiped, very cosy (not the cold and impersonal style of many hotels). Relatively small hotel, excellent location in the Jewish neighborhood and close to old city.

The tram seems to go often nearby the hotel, and it can be heard inside.
Clean rooms, good air, excellent service, good breakfast.

The bar service wasn’t great. We had to get our own beers and find a bottle opener. The guy on reception was tired which made him appear a bit grumpy.
It’s very central without being amongst the crowds. Breakfast was really good. Something for everyone. Egg, bacon, sausages, fruit, cheese and meat. The rooms were very clean.

First encounter with pick pocket on tram by door ..luckily not successful
3 stops on tram ( 5 min ) away from old town or 3 stops other direction to Schindlers factory, right by Jewish quarter for food and independent small shops

If you have a room in the front you can hear the trams passing but not to loud and only when they operate
Clean spacious rooms and so quiet with carpeting throughout and a fabulous breakfast selection.

Not really the fault of the hotel, but you can hear the trams running early in the morning. Ask for a room at the back, if you can.
Great value for money hotel right in the heart of Krakow. Not too far to walk to Wawel Castle, or there's a tram stop very near the hotel. Our room had a good sized bathroom too. Nice to have a fridge in the room, very useful on a hot day to keep your drinks in (reception sells bottled drinks or there is a Zabka only 130m from the hotel). Very friendly staff who helped with directions and other queries we had. Good breakfast, best scrambled eggs I've ever eaten!

Tea facilities in the room would be a great addition.
Staff were really helpful, in advance and during the stay. The room was comfy, sizable and with air con. There were plenty of breakfast options too.

Nothing it was all good
Breakfast was very nice and included in the price. The location is very close to the old Jweish quarter where there are loads of great bars and restaurants. Didn't spot any Stag does which was nice.

Didn’t have a kettle and coffee/tea facilities in room, but not a massive issue.
Location brilliant. Rooms really good size. Good shower. Great bed and pillows. Breakfast was good.

There is no restaurant in the hotel and the breakfast was very basic (good quality, but absolutely no variety). We were expecting a little more from a big name brand hotel's breakfast
The hotel has a ton of parking and the location is fairly good. There are 2 very good restaurants in walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. A lot of amenities are available at the reception (I forgot my toothbrush and they provided one for free). The staff was friendly

There was no tea/coffee provided in the rooms.
Only 10-15 minute walk to the old town (or 2 tram stops). Lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good. Room clean and comfortable (good air conditioning). Staff pleasant and helpful.
