However, I stayed for three days and unfortunately, the cleanliness was very disappointing. The room was dirty throughout my entire stay, and many areas of the hostel showed low hygiene standards. There were unpleasant odors, caused both by some permanent residents and the general lack of cleaning. Perhaps one or more permanent residents obstruct the passage with their clothes, leaving them everywhere, which does not help at all with the cleanliness of the hostel. I would say that they might be the main source of the poor hygiene, and this should be controlled by the hostel’s management and those responsible. The refrigeration was insufficient: there was only one medium-sized fridge that was overloaded considering the number of guests and rooms. Ideally, they should have at least two refrigerators to adequately accommodate everyone. The kitchen area was somewhat clean, but the tables and tablecloths were very dirty. From the entrance of the hostel, the poor hygiene is noticeable, giving a bad impression right away. The bathrooms and showers, except the one near the entrance, were also not well maintained. I think it is a good idea to have separate bathrooms for men and women; otherwise, the situation would be even more unpleasant to imagine. I also believe that centers like this—or really all similar hostels—should be more strictly controlled to avoid accepting guests who live in such conditions. The hostel administrators should be more demanding with the clients, for example, requiring them to bring slippers and creating a designated space for outdoor shoes. In addition to all this, I was quite disappointed that my underwear was stolen while hanging on the drying rack near the bathroom by the entrance. There was no reason for it to disappear. I asked the staff, and when they spoke with the cleaning person, he showed little interest. This had never happened to me at any hostel before.

I would like to honestly share my experience during my stay at this hostel to help future visitors. The only thing I appreciated was that they offered a free towel, which was very useful for drying off and using at my convenience. On a positive note, there was always toilet paper in the bathrooms, soap for handwashing, and towels available for free use.

The photos are not like how it is when you go there. I am mostly talking about the rooms with 10 beds, which is usually not very clean. The beds are... Fine... But I feel like the sheets weren't very clean. Through the whole hostel there is a lingering bitter smell, and it is quite unpleasant. The toilets are bad. There are two showers in total, and 3 toilets (of which one of them is in the same room as the shower) so it is very hard to go to the bathroom in peace. If you're just gonna sleep there for one night, i guess it's fine. But if you're staying longer, I would not recommend it. Especially if you're a solo traveler that came to visit the city.

    Nothing in particular

There wasn’t much space in the room to put my bellongings, so I stuffed them on the windowsill next to other beds, not mine - so, it was something definitely worth improving.

The receptionist was really nice to tell me where everything was and even to offer his milk when I asked for it, so the attitude of the worker(s) is really something I liked a lot!:)

I didn't like: 1. The room is always open. You will not get the key to be able to close it so everyone anytime can get in side. 2. The window was broken. I stayed there twice in September and October and they didn't repaired it. It was so cold at night. 3. There were only 2 lockers in 4 bedroom. Rest of them are in main hall which is not cool at all. 4. Bed lights are only next to same beds so at night if you want to read you need to use main light and disturb others. 5. Toilet is horrible.

I liked: 1. Staff was very nice. 2. You can get a tower there. 3. Kitchen is in good condition. 4. 2 minutes walking distance to tram.

The location is a bit outside the city center (20min by tram) and even though the stop is right outside, there's no connection during the night. It doesn't have a good vibe to it. Russian speaking people live there constantly. One morning I woke up to people arguing in Russian. It was an experience!

The room and the bathroom were clean, I could get free coffee there and chill in the kitchen. The tram stop is right outside

The toilets hardly worked, there was very little lighting, the beds were very squeaky, and there was very little space for relaxation. This is not the hostel's fault, but I had very rude hostelmates in my room who would play loud music or talk loudly on the phone in the middle of the night while people were trying to sleep. Both nights, I got very poor sleep.

There was no breakfast. The location was alright, but I chose it specifically because of the price and the closeness to the Airbnb I was going to move into shortly after.

You have to pay for the towel Bed are not fixed with a customer (i came one day and there was a person on my bed) On the first bed there was a weird mattress, all in bumps, though i slept well. On the second bed there was a good, might be new, mattress

It's was clean, bright during the day. Good internet. There were lockers for your personal stuff. They also let me leave my bag when my stay was over so I went walking without my heavy bag (I had like 5 hours before a train)

The bathroom (male bathroom) was a disaster. One of the shower cabins was not working so I had to queue for 20 minutes to have a shower. One of the bathroom doors was broken and overall it was not clean.

The check-in was very smooth and professional. The receptionist helped me with the sockets. The location is good. It is located very close to the tram station. The bed was clean and smelled very fresh. The room overall was really nice. The cleaning lady was a sweetheart.

my friend got her towel taken away and changed her bedsheets even though we had one more night to stay. when we asked where our towel is no-one knew and we were told that later at night the guy was supposed to take her bed but saw someone sleeping there and left. so I'd recommend the staff to be more accurate with who, where and for how long gonna stay. we didn't find the towel and were told that its good that it was only the towel taken away and not other stuff.

You have to hunt for a locker in your room because the keys lost. The lockers are very noisy, at night you wakes everybody up. I didn't get key for the room, but my roommates got, so I asked for one and got it but after very long conversation why I need. But they said please don't lock the room. The reception guy speaks English hardly but you will understand each other some way. No problem with Polish and Russian language. 2 toilet and 2 shower (1 is out of use) for all men, when the hostel is on full you probably have to wait long. Toilet flusher is broken but working. Soap is not always reloaded for days. No power socket for every bed, you have to hunt for one all day at other beds. No lamp or shelf for the beds. Beds are comfortable but very noisy, if you climb up or turn everyone hears it. Curtains are white so the sun really goes in the room. There is a garden with a gardener, nice flowers, sunbath seats, but it is locked and not allowed to go there.

They clean once a day everything so no problem with hygiene. Room is nice and clean, bed is comfortable, one table with 3 chairs. Kitchen well equipped (cooker, water boiler, sandwich oven, microwave, blender/robot mixer, pots, plates, glasses etc.) Nice chairs, tables, TV, DVD player. Some free stuff in the kitchen like tea, cocoa, oil, salt, sugar. I saw one hairdryer on the reception and also two iron. Reception helps you if you have a question/request.

    1. There's little space to store a bag inside the room. Which is partially understandable as it's a 10-bed room, but still. 2. A locker near the bed is made out of metal and is pretty loud, creaky. So when you crawl cautiously to your bed coming in the middle of the night and trying not to wake up anybody (of the rest 9 people in the room), opening/closing the locker will be a challenge. 3. The mattress is pretty comfortable, but the bed itself is shaky. So when I turned around on the upper level, the person downstairs would feel it and vice versa. 4. There's no dedicated power socket for each bed. So although I kindly received an extra plug extension, when I came back at night trying to plug in my phone there, I found that the extension was unpluged from the main socket by a crazy lady downstairs. So I had to wake everybody up trying to get my extension plugged back in. 5. There's only 1 men's toilet (may be 2, but the other one was always locked). For so many people it got a bit uncomfortable at times, when you had to wait.

Caring and polite personnel, cozy waiting area near the reception with a couch, awesome kitchen with everything you might need to cook a breakfast, get to know fellow travellers or send some emails.
