How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The steps leading up to the reception. Everything else was fine

They have one issue which happened twice already, which is the quality of showers. It's not a huge deal, but this time, I wasn't getting any cold water. Straight boiling water in the shower, lol.
I'm using this place every single time I'm in Łódź and it's very good one. Defo good balance of price and quality.

Broken soap dispenser, is not the best shower, too small room with view on another building in 3 meters from the window, smell in the bathroom. No English tv channels
The location is amazing! The staff is friendly and helpfull

The room needs a bit of TLC. The buzzard at the entrance doesn't work. Fortunately we had a phone plan that allowed phone calls, this is the only way to get into the hotel after hours.
The location is excellent, close to the tram stop and very close to Piotrkowska street. The room was comfortable and quiet.

Card access to the room was broken. The room on the 1st floor looks different from the photos on the site: there was a small window under the ceiling instead of normal one. Another one, that was not a real problem for me, but I don't know how guests with heavy luggage or especially wheelchair users supposed to get to the reception from the street through all these stairs.
Delicious breakfast with a wide variety of food. Good location, stable WiFi with fair speed, table in the room is tiny but suitable for work.

The door looked like it may have been forced open at some point in its life. Not a very reassuring feeling and if it was a women attending on her own it would raise concern.
The location is very good and comes with parking that is part of the building complex. The staff were all very pleasant.

Compared to my previous stay, this time I been given a quite small room for the money I paid. And at middle of night I could hear someone walking and snoring loudly from another room.

The room would benefit from some renovation work.
A clean place. The bed was comfotable, the bathroom clean and tidy. The staff left a very positive impression, they were both highly profesonal and friendly.

the view is visible to some offices literally right opposite the hotel that you can see people working there lol and as I arrived at a very warm time of year, no air conditioning so had to open the window, room is quite small too but not the smallest place I stayed.
Great location to transport links, restaurants and shops etc..... staff is helpful too and also for extra can get breakfast unless you choose a package that includes it - I didn't as I like to go and find somewhere but on my last day I decided to pay extra and get breakfast at hotel before leaving for the airport.

Had a wee issue with shower head but nothing disastrous 🙂↔️

I was allocated to room 206 , which was very small in my opinion and it was single room , was unable to move around bed , also unable to plug side lamp . The bed lamp was on right side but unable to reach a socket, if you move bed side table to left / socket side - you were blocked completely by table from right side . However after speaking to Manager following morning , we were moved to another room ( 202) , which was comfortable . In summary -room 206 is single use !

I really can't fault anything at this hotel.
Hotel was easy to find from the train station. Close to buses & trams. Staff was very helpful when we needed information. I really liked the fact that we could control the a/c. I highly recommend this hotel.

There was no cleaning during the stay, so the trash was totally full. There was not enough toilet paper, I had to buy my own.
