How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewBrand new apartment near the city center and institute of Maria Curie. All you gonna need during your stay is in. Zabka is across the street.
Air conditioner showed some mistake on its display and didn’t turn on, but it was rather cold outside at night and that saved us. If you stay in green apartment, you have one terrace for 2 apartments, and someone smoked near our bedroom and shouted till 2 p.m. Anyway it’s not common I guess.

Verified reviewThe flat is quite spacious and light. It is very comfortable as you can find here everything you can even need, even clothes washing mashine. There is a kettle and all the kitchen utencils. The coffee capsules are very pleasant to find! The bed linnen and towels are really clean and pleasant to use. The bathroom is comfortable and there you can find everything you need. We are very glad about the stay and we will come back. Big recomendations!
It would be nice to find kitchen towels to dry the dishes and kitchen sponges to clean the dishes after using them.

Verified reviewThis apartment could be an absolutely fantastic place to stay for a visit, but it has its drawbacks. Let's start with what I really liked about the apartment: brand-new, very modern apartment; nice little green patio in front of the apartment; very quiet place to stay, nothing disturbs your sleep; very compfy beds; lots of space to put your stuff in cupboards, etc., a real stove with a large oven in the kitchen; working air-conditioning, fast wifi; Nespresso coffee maker.
Here are some suggestions for making the place more guest-friendly. 1. While you can reserve a parking spot under the building (which I strongly recommend if you are driving to Gliwice), payment for the garage space can only be made via bank transfer, which can be extremely inconvenient and also expensive if you don't have the right home bank. Online credit card payment or even cash payment should be options to pay for the garage. I wasted a tremendous amount of time trying to make a payment via bank transfer. 2. Getting in and out of the garage works by calling a certain phone number that opens the garage door. First, it never worked during the 3 days we spent there. I had to call another number (the number for Apartio Rooms) to ask that they open the garage door remotely from their end. If you don't have the right phone plan, calling the number several times in an attempt to open the garage door can become a cost you might be reluctant to pay. Luckily, the gate was opened remotely by the staff every time we had an issue. Second - and this is something that management is aware of - while in the garage, there is no cell reception. I was not able to call the number to open the gate. However, it was possible to open the gate manually. 3. Communication with staff is not easy. It could be due to a language issue; i.e., not everybody speaks English. I asked several important questions via booking.com's messaging system, but never received an answer. I tried to call their phone number, but there was no answer. This should really change! Our stay could have been much better if I had received the information I was looking for. 4. In the shower, the soap that was used by the previous guest was still there. This makes one question whether or not the bathroom has been cleaned thoroughly. 5. The shower base is extremely slippery, but there is nothing to hold on to. I suggest that management take the above into consideration for the future.

Verified reviewApartments were spacious with comfortable bed and sofa-bed. The air conditioner was available, also it had fully equipped kitchen and coffee machine what we have enjoyed.
The information about the booked and prepaid parking was not sent beforehand, I had to write and in the end call to the property. The apartments were clean itself - although I had to clean oven myself before making a dinner.

Verified reviewi rented three different flat they wete all clean and nice but mine was not actuall good. I m saying to the owner, in the green room,the washing machine not working, the tv remote is absent, the oven is sooooo dirty and oily. the other two rooms were ok but mine was actually terrible in this respect.
