Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaNothing to complain about.
Very warm welcome, the staff was really helpfull and always with a smile on their face. The rooms were ready even if we arrived a little bit early. The hotel has an awsome location, close to everything you might need or want to do (shops, mall, old city center, etc)

AustraliaOne slight issue was parking which is an ugly sight at the front of such a lovely old building. There does not seem to be an in/out driveway. The parking was full and the bollards were up, so not very welcoming. There was a vehicle already parked in front of the bollards, so we had to go around the block and come back. I assume to you need to buzz to tell a concierge to let your car in if you have booked a car park. We were just being dropped off, so okay second time around. But seems a strange way for a five star hotel to 'welcome' their guests. And a shame in such a lovely environs to allow a car park as foremost feature.
So glad I chose this hotel. A real hotel highlight of our trip. Such great rooms and service. A delightful walk to the main square, lush gardens surrounding the building. Beautiful old palace from 1874, neo-baroque. Close to some nice cafes and restaurants (try Misa Hindusa around the corner- delish Indian, lots of vegetarian choices). Not only was the price very reasonable for a five star hotel, they offered us complimentary drinks and spa treatments. Room good size, beds comfy and spotless. Bathroom fab and so well lit you can't wait to get in to the great shower and catch up on bathroom duties (facial, shave your legs, dye your hair). I really enjoyed my stay here, but too busy exploring Wroclaw to take full advantage of the hotel. Next time! Breakfast is a really good spread, with extra selection from a menu with table service (omelettes, hot meals, etc) if you wish. But such a great range of of food on display I never ordered anything else. Nice Central European touch to offer bubbly with breakfast.

I’ve always used the spa on my last day even after check out. 2 no gym, please don’t call it gym 3 no WiFi provided upon check in when I was in the room I could not call reception to ask for WiFi so I had to wait for the day after.

GreeceNothing, everything went smoothly.
A very beautiful hotel located at an older but fully renovated building. The rooms were big and comfy, the breakfast was very good with a variety of choices to cover every taste, the staff was very helpful and polite. The hotel is very well located at a short 5-10 minutes walk from the old town center.

The hotel is converted from an old palatial mansion. It was truly like staying in a palace. It was clean, elegant and stylish with friendly helpful staff. It is close to the old town centre and is located on the canal front and a park. The breakfast was excellent. It is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in and was modestly priced for its quality. Treat yourself.

New ZealandWe were assigned a room on the first/ground floor (Room 104) by the road, and every time a tram went past, the floors would rumble and shake. Sometimes the trams were so loud that it was comparable to an earthquake. The trams pass by every 10 minutes or so from early in the morning until about midnight. While some trams are slightly quieter, overall the noise and shaking were disruptive. We did not ask to move as we only realised what the noise was after we had used the shower etc., and online it looked like the hotel was fully booked during our stay anyway. It would be helpful if staff could warn guests in these rooms about the potential noise and vibration beforehand. The guests being checked in just before us had been offered glasses of champagne on arrival, but we were only offered still or sparkling water. I expect the hotel experience is probably quite lovely if you are assigned a room that is not one of the first on the right as you walk in (e.g. instead, it is facing the river or is on a higher floor with more light and less noise), but unfortunately this was not our experience.
Gorgeous building with nice interiors, and the room was spacious, clean, and well appointed with comfortable beds and nice furnishings. There were biscuits provided in the room on arrival and each day (although it was a bit odd that any uneaten biscuits were not cleared away the next day). The hotel is conveniently located with both the old town city centre and the main railway station a short walk away.

Czech RepublicThe spa zone is really small. There are only four loungers which are always occupied by people's towels even though they are not laying down. I feel like this could be solved by simple rules for everyone. The "Finish" sauna is heated a little below 80°C so it's not really hot enough but still serves nicely for gentle relaxing. We didn't figure out how the steam room works. It seemed to turn on in random internals which was not really convenient. Still, we made the most of the spa and it's still good for the type of hotel. I just feel that this is where the most improvement could be made.
The room was beautiful with stunning views towards the park. We loved the fluffy super comfortable bed that was neatly made up every day. Tea kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, iron with ironing board, mineral water, robes, slippers... the room was equipped with everything you might need and when it ran out, it was restocked. All the staff was very professional, yet friendly. We enjoyed our free access to the spa every day. We are leaving super content with our whole stay. This hotel is definitely worth its price.

PolandYou expect to have a glass shower cabin in a 5-star hotel. In our room, we had a shower curtain, which was 20 cm. Too short. Ergo, the whole bathroom was submerged in water after a shower. It's not possible to reserve a parking space. Which is creating annoying situations. Everything else was fine. 😀
Breakfast was one of the best, I have tried in my 40 years of traveling around the world. WELL DONE 👏
