How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Nice hotel, great value for money, very simple rooms but have everything you need, bathroom, linen, towels, TV, nice bedding, side lights and plenty of space in the room. Nice included breakfast with variety of food and hot and cold drinks.

It would be nice to have some desk at the room and shelves in the bathroom.
Good quiet location in the woods on the outskirts of town if you have a car cause no public transport stops nearby. Basic rooms with good beds, welcome bottle of water. Good breakfast included (7.00-9.00 a.m.), common access to fridge and electric kettle at the corridor. Large free parking lot. I recommend this place for the couple of nights.

Hotel is located in a bit of a dodgy place so even though it's not very far from the train station, I was afraid to walk and ended up taking taxi. Breakfast was included in the room price but it is not worth eating, honestly. A poor quality coffee, tasteless cheese, tasteless ham, cheapest bread and so on. It's a budget hotel and it was a very budget food.
A clean, quiet room. Clean bathroom. Nice staff. Good value for money.

I spent a lot of time getting connected to the wifi. I must ask in the reception to help me. They also have problems getting connected. After some time they solved the problem. They were really helpful.

See above for approach to location and the lighting as you go up the stairs can give you a false impression of where the steps are. There isa ramp as an alternative. The TV did not work and I got no help to get it on.
The breakfast was good, but would have liked a bit of variety over my stay. The location was not central to Bydgoszcz and was not even central to the railway station which itself is some distance from the town. Most people would take a taxi to get to the hotel, but it can be walked from the town centre to the railway station and then to the hotel in about 1 hour, each stage taking about 30 minutes. The entrance to the hotel is at the back of an industrial complex and the lighting at night is not good and the ground surface is rough.

A bit too far from the town centre...
Reception staff were very pleasant, the room was clean with a big bathroom and a bath. WiFi was working OK. The breakfast (yes - the price included it) was simple but tasty.

It's a bit far out of city if weather was bad .
Enjoy the walk to city about 40 minutes with good weather . Staff were very friendly.. Decent breakfast. 15 minute walk to tram and bus stop .

Most of the time there was no receptionist. Sunday was forced to boil bathroom water and drink because there was no one for more then 6 hours to give water at reception.

Very nice place to stay for a night. Quiet area. Fresh air. Clean rooms with individual toilet and shower. We've arrive late at night after closing of reception desk, and the administrator have resolved our issue. Thank so much. This place is so nice and friendly to its guests.

The room and its equipment worn and outdated but under a good maintenance hence still usable.

Got there a d no staff on duty a d h Got there and hotel was locked and no staff on duty. No 24 hour recdption, no restaurant or lobby bar or cafe open as advertised. Extremely isolated with no transport of food possibilities. Scratchy pulled sheets. Owner thought it no problem that I was locked out of hotel despite having reservation with arrive so time specified and that there was no food possibilities for the entire night.
