We did a tour to Apo Island organised via the hotel and it was horrendous; the worst tour I’ve ever done (I live in the Philippines and travel frequently here). I realise it wasn’t the hotel itself that provided this tour; but it would be great if they could recommend/line up better options. Also, van transfers organised by the hotel (eg to the airport or to the port) are extremely expensive for the Philippines.

Huge, clean, modern apartments. The grounds are beautiful, and the pool area is fantastic. Restaurant food was good. The staff were helpful and went above and beyond with helping with our ticket arrangements for Siquijor.

If there is one thing I can add to make the apartment even more liveable, I would add a magnifying mirror for the ladies. A toilet kit complete with dental floss, cotton buds, a box of tissue paper and liquid soap for the sink. An overhead light inside the closets would also be helpful. Other than that, Pura Vida is my favorite place in Dauin.

The apartment was spacious and homey. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs, especially the service staff in the restaurant. Very lovely garden with a big swimming pool, the view of the sea from the balcony is quite stunning. I would like to go back and stay for a few more days.

We thought the New Year's buffet menu was not toeveryone's taste so found it expensive. We should have ordered from the regular menu instead. Other than that everything is more than we expected.

We liked everything. The staff were friendly, and were always quick to assist us. The breakfast and the menu at the restaurant were very variable. Everywhere we went within their facilities were always clean. We will definitely come back and recommend the place.

Absolutely loved the villa!! Great design and very spacious. The rooms were super comfortable and the 2 bathrooms were both modern and everything worked great. Nice big TVs and good WiFi. We arrived late and Vangeline gave us a lovely welcome... thank you to all of the staff, they were so attentive and a nice breakfast was served at the beachside restaurant next door. Thanks again and we look forward to returning in the future! A first class stay!

The fact that on check out the girl at reception wouldn’t believe me that I’d only had 3 bottles of water from the minibar. She said this had to be checked first. Which as I told her is frankly rude and disrespectful and distrustful! I told her I’m not a thief and always pay for what I use and never steal. Then after the mini bar was checked she kept giving me various amounts that I had to pay. I kept telling her I just want to know what I owe in total. She even tried to charge me for the overnight stay that I’d already paid in full on check in. Due to this untrusting nature it actually spoiled our stay and even though it’s a beautiful place we won’t be staying here again.

The WiFi wasn't working from the moment we checked in, until 1 hour before we left. We were told that it was being troubledshooted but actually the router just needed a reset, which wasn't done until right before we checked out :( Apparently the staff working the day before wasn't the same or as efficient as the staff the next day. The lights in the pool didn't work and the hot tub jets weren't working. We still had an amazing time though!

The location is unbeatable - by the sea, private villa with private pool, a resort with spa, restaurant and bar next door. The rooms are just the right size, the master bedroom is big and the bathrooms are clean and lovely. The living room is very spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. There was free iced tea - delicious! The pool and the outdoor seating is just the right size.
