The room smelt like tobacco smoke. We asked to change the room, but the other room was just as bad.

This was the least comfortable bed I have slept on in all of Asia. The policy about outside alcohol felt punitive and restrictive. And, if you are going to INSIST on us buying beer from you it should be at market value.

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was beautiful. The hotel was comfortable overall. Breakfast OK. The gym was good for bodybuilders but not comfortable for a cardio workout so I ended up leaving.

A couple of areas for improvement would make future stays even better. The bed could be more comfortable; adding a mattress topper would go a long way. Additionally, enhancing the breakfast buffet with a few more options—like soup or a simple salad—would be appreciated, especially for guests staying more than one night. Overall, I had a good experience. Thank you to the team for the hospitality.

I had a pleasant 2-night stay at the property. The staff were consistently courteous and helpful, which made the experience smooth and comfortable. The room size was generous and well-suited for both rest and getting some work done. The hotel's location is also convenient—easily accessible and close to key areas in the city.

Beds were firm. Neighbourhood is downmarket. For hotel taxi pick-up you need to exit arrivals, turn right, walk to end, cross road, go past taxis to the very far side to be greeted by driver as they are not allowed in the arrivals area or even outside.

Room service was immediate. Bathroom was huge and fully modern with freestanding tub, shower, toilet and sink. View of harbour. Room was made up every day and didn't need to ask. Breakfast satisfactory and service once again very prompt. Ample underground car parking. 2 laundries nearby. SM Mall and Bayfront restaurants in walking distance.

Photos showed a pool but on arrived we were told the sunlight hotel in coron had a pool, not in puerto princesa. Bit disappointing.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and beds were comfortable. Roof top bar was lovely looking out over the water. In the middle of town but quiet and walkable to the bay front area of waterside restaurants and shops.

The water temperature could have been hotter, especially for shower and bathing in the tub. The staff needs to ensure, double check & communicate hotel package prices effectively to avoid guests paying more than expected. Requests for new towels and toilet paper would take long to fulfill, sometimes having to call the front desk twice for casual reminders.

Loved the location and the seaside view from our room (Room H26). The location was fantastic. Easy for pick ups and drop offs when going on tours like island hopping. Really convenient and sweet staff/workers too. Breakfast was great as well!

The beds were a bit hard. The first room we were in was getting some smoke from a building outside which was annoying. When we asked to be moved to another room they were very helpful, and the next room was fine, and we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is in a great location in centre of Puerto Princesa. The room was big and very clean and has a view over the bay. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The breakfast was great, there was someone to cook your eggs, and there was a selection of other savoury and sweet items.

Good experience overall. Seydil at the reception was very helpful and answered all our questions. The place is clean, though there was a humidity smell in the hallway. However, the mattress was as hard as a rock, and we woke up with backaches.

The hotel looks a bit run down, and smells a bit damp. I had trouble sleeping because of the rock hard bed, it gave me back pain, unfortunately.

At breakfast we asked for tea. One pot came luke warm, the other was OK (we could only get one cup out of each pot). When we asked for a 2nd pot to replace the cold one we were told we would have to pay for it or provide our own tea bags. We pointed out that the original one was cold but it made no difference the girl spoke to the manager and came back with the same response. Annoying since you could have as much coffee as you wanted, but we don't drink coffee. I don't understand why they were so petty over a cup of tea with a buffet breakfast?

The staff at the reception were so straight faced and not particularly nice. We stayed for 5 days and that was constant. Breakfast didn't have a lot of variety.

The location of the hotel was great, it's downtown and there is an open market, super markets, bakeries SM mall with restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and bright which was nice, staff at the restaurant were nice also.

The only thing I didn't like is the flooring in between the bathroom door and hallway, it wasn't level I almost trip.

It was a good size room with queen size bed. I like the shower and free standing bathtub. The location is what we expected around the city, kind of noisy but convenient around to run some errands.
