Very spacious room with sofa, kitchenette, table and chairs, comfy bed, quiet aircon, digital tv, and a large bar fridge. Very close to the beach to swim with massive schools of sardines and large turtles (I saw one, and hubby saw two on a separate swim, further out & away from the main touristy area). Staff were pleasant & helpful. Staff did our washing 200ps, which was very convenient for us. Our accommodation was, walking distance, close to everything! So many great eateries nearby. Easy, prompt communication with the helpful owner. The staff organised transport (trike) to the bus stop, in town, for our return to Cebu City.

Very nice place perfectly located at walking distance from restaurants and bars of the main street. The snorkeling spot is just downstairs. There is no balcony but a rooftop terrace with a nice view on sunset. The room is spacious and clean. The most notable experience is the kindness and dedication of the staff. The staff were attentive and super helpful. They helped bring our luggage to our room, after our excursions the room was already cooled down and that was nice. They offered airport pickup and transfer to the city, just ask the staff if you need that service, we availed and it was good. They can book your activities too. The room was like an Airbnb unit, you can use the microwave and water heater. The view from the hotel was so great too. No hassle and we enjoyed our stay!

The balcony at the top is the real highlight. Starting the day up there with an American breakfast and ending it the same way just hits different. The rooms had everything we needed and if something’s missing, the staff is super friendly and ready to help right away. They really take care of you, especially Joy. Super warm and helpful. You can even borrow snorkeling gear for free, and they’ve got free drinking water available too. The location couldn’t be better. Not even a minute to the beach and super close to all the dive shops. It’s also quiet enough to get good sleep no loud parties nearby but still close enough if you feel like going out. So yeah, for us, everything was on point: location, comfort, cleanliness, and service.

The staff is amazing! They are super friendly and kind to help you with everything; trips, bike, data for the phone, restaurants etc etc etc They want to make sure you have an amazing time in Moalboal. I wanted to go diving and they advised Amigo diving shop which was a good match. Also I wanted to see the whale sharks in Oslob and they made sure I got a good deal with the transportation and all, very helpful and it was an amazing experience. The breakfast is a 'must-do', its a rich and full table with eggs, bacon, fruit, coffee all all all!! Very good and really affordable. I had a very early checkout and (although the staff does not life in the hotel) they came to make sure I had a breakfast, and everything with me. Very helpful!

We had a room on the ground floor and the toilet was a bit wonky with flushing (sometimes it wouldn't work). But there's a bucket in the shower (with good water pressure), so this wasn't a big issue 'cause we could use that instead. Most of the time it would flush. That said, the bathroom was also very clean, so for us this was a minor thing.

We were in Moalboal for a few days and had a great stay at the Strandhaus. It was clean, comfy and a fantastic location: just a half a minute away from the beach and very close to where you can see the sardine run. During our stay the beach was nice and quiet, with an easy access into the water. The sardine run is absolutely impressive and we also loved the multiple turtles, such gentle creatures! The ladies at the reception are friendly and helpful. From the roof terrace you have a great view over the sea and surroundings. Also many eateries within walking distance. Recommended!

Majona, the owner and a local Filipino woman, was so unbelievably kind and helpful. Staff kept things clean and super delicious breakfast. Drinking water provided was a bonus and perfect location close to the main area but much quieter.

It’s super close to the beach! 5-10min walk to the restaurant. Helpful and accommodating staff. Very clean and comfortable room. They let you borrow mask and fins for free. It’s just I wish I got the room with the balcony, but its ok since I booked really late. All in all everything is perfect!

This hotel is centrally located to everything you need in Moalboal. Thier breakfast is superb for a price of $5, I wish I could eat 3 breakfast a day LOL. The staff (Kris, Lodie & Joy) are really a gem for this Hotel. The owner herself is another gem, wherein she helps and accommodate us on our request.

Nice clean room with a big window. It’s in a great location; close to restaurants and the sardines. It was nice to have a kettle in the room to make coffee. There is also a nice roof terrace to watch the sunset.
