I love how clean, spacious and relaxing the place is. Very private, and yet accessible. The staff were very accommodating and made sure our stay was very comfortable.

Nothing but if there was something, maybe there was no swimming pool. Otherwise the beach is nice anyway.

They didn’t have an on resort restaurant but they did have a bar. However they did purchase for us food from nearby restaurants and re plated the meal in proper plates and settings anywhere you wanted on the property, so that was kinda cool.

The Service was personal and heartfelt, The property was very private and the beach front beautiful and well maintained. They have two cool ATV’s for rent.

There’s no pool if that’s your thing but we really didn’t miss it

Breakfast was great! Would have liked lunch or dinner options at resort but a lot of local food nearby. Moped/motorbike rentals were brought to site upon request for a good price. Also trikes called if you’re not comfortable with driving motorbikes.

Love the villas! We had a very relaxing and healing stay at Sorana. All the staff were friendly and well trained. We can’t wait to go back and bring our family here. Must try is the Labtingaw (dried fish) and Chorizo from the breakfast set! Make sure to catch the lovely sunrise from the resort.

This place set my standard when it comes to booking a villa/resort. Absolutely incredible and exceptional. Room 6, is definitely the best room.

The best beaches on the island are Kota beach and Sandira beach, the hotel beach is nice but it is closed to the port so it will never be as clean as those other two beaches but it is absolutely not hotels fault. The hotel doesn‘t have restaurant so the breakfast is limited and there is only instant coffee… I liked the philippino breakfast, my husband not so… but anyways we liked to eat our breakfasts in different restaurants so it wasn‘t big deal for us. The hotel has very big land so probably in the future it will become bigger… this hotel has a lot of potential and it would be great to have there pool when there is a low tide. And restaurant and cafe would be big plus. But im sure in the future it will become the best hotel in Bantayan Island and I am glad that I could spent my time here.

When you step foot on this property you feel like you are in a paradise retreat! The grounds are stunning! I didn‘t expect much from Bantayan Island but it turned out to be my favorite island in Philippines!and I am happy that I chose to stay with Sorana. I don‘t really understand the bad reviews here…the rooms are amazing/one of the best we stayed in philippines and very clean and aesthetic. The whole resort is so beautiful and aesthetic!and you always see the stuff to take care about the grounds. But the Stuff is the one who makes this hotel so amazing. They are doing their best to fulfill all guest wishes with a smile on their face and always trying to find solutions to everything. We had to catch ferry at 5 AM and they offer us complimentary ride to the port at 3:45 and even prepared sandwiches for the road.

We loved the interior design, beautifully maintained landscape, and attentive, friendly staff. The beachfront was stunning and made for a quiet, relaxing stay—perfect for unwinding. Definitely recommend to stay here! Also a bonus tip: wake up early to catch the sunrise.

There’s no restaurant but it’s like a butlers resort so you can ask the staff for anything and they will deliver any food, service etc

Room For the price, I expected the room to be more spacious, which was a bit disappointing. Facilities Adding amenities like a massage room or a dipping pool could enhance the overall guest experience. Restaurant Currently, the property does not have an on-site restaurant. While it's possible to walk to nearby properties for a quick meal, it would be more convenient if dining options were available on-site. The bar also lacks variety, offering limited choices. Plumbing (Sanitary) The property needs significant improvement in its plumbing and general maintenance. While the room initially smelled clean due to the humidifier, it seemed more like an attempt to mask unpleasant odors. Unfortunately, we encountered cockroaches upon check-in and again in the bathroom the next morning. Upon closer inspection, the drawer under the bathroom sink had a noticeable odor, likely due to gaps in the corners where pests might be entering. This issue requires urgent attention.

A picture perfect place. Very private, spacious with only 8 rooms. You can really enjoy that piece of paradise. The hotel beach and garden is pure perfection. Lovely pancake breakfast and the private dinner that we was cooked for us was really really perfect. They still need a bit of training to fulfill the guests needs before you have to ask. But I‘m sure they will manage that really soon. We‘ll come back.

The cost. Too expensive for what is offered. No restaurant, doesn’t have a great breakfast menu. No swimming pool. However the beach is amazing and well kept. Very serene. Fantastic staff. No other complaints.

There is no pool and no restaurant, although staff was very accomodatiing and could agmrrange frwsh seafood to be bought and cook if needed. A little pricy consideri g the lack of pool but overall good.

The breakfast did not have fruit available and the coffee was 3 in 1. They need to have better coffee. They did have nesspresso in the rooms, though.
