We stayed 7 days and we recommend staying at MKB Pension! :) The host, Kaye, is a very sweet and nice person, she knows very well what hospitality means, she pays attention to what you need and she is always helping you. She can help you booking motorcycle as well or tours. When you arrive at MKB you don't feel lost, but wellcomed and everything is very easy to find. The Pension is basically in the city, very good location because it's not close to the street so you don't hear people on the street. The room was clean, the AC is not loud at all, we didn't have problems with it for the whole staying, you have tv, towels, soap, shampoo. We also had Wifi and it worked well. We had the room with the balcony that was AMAZING, we didn't expect to have balcony so we were very happy. Around the pension there are houses of local people so it was actually very nice to wake up early in the morning and to adapt to a new rutine because they have roosters and chickens and it feels very rustic/authentic. Anyways, if you use pluggers for your ears you will not hear anything. We changed our rutine also because everything is closed in the city after 22, so everyone is going to sleep early and wakes up early. You don't have what to do after 22 anyways. Our staying wouldn't have been so pleasant if it was not also our host, Kaye, that was a sweetheart! So a big thank you to her for her hospitality and good heart! Five stars 🔆

There is nothing that I didn't like. This is a bargain for Coron. There is a little restriction of space for shower and it's shared. and city water was off in early am last day. Which we were informed about.

I had a wonderful stay at this place! From the moment I arrived, the host made me feel incredibly welcome and at home. The room itself was small but cozy with everything I needed. Plus, the location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the city, close to everything. It was the perfect base for my stay, and I would definitely come back again.

Bed Bugs on the first night - however they dealt with the situation well, by quickly moving us to a new room for the night. We then moved back to the original room after they had cleaned it and didnt have any issues moving forward.

Great stay. Host is incredibly friendly providing lots of advice and ensuring we had a comfortable stay. Location is close to the center (only a short walk). There is also a grocery store 1 minute walk away. Would recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable stay on a smaller budget. Thank you again to the host ensuring we had a great stay.

Roasters can wake you up very early. However this happens a lot in almost all places of Coron and Il Nido so it is what it is.

The lady is a very nice person. Really makes you feel like home and she helps you with everything you need, including booking tours, transfers and motor bike rental. Very good A/C with no noise, which is great. Always had hot water :) almost no mosquitoes in the bedroom. Great location. Five minutes walking and you are at the center of Coron with all the good restaurants. Coffee and water available during all the stay (hot and cold water)

The family room was small for 5 people (including 3 tall boys) and 5 big backpacks and day bags.

Amazing helpful and friendly host - helped organise trike hire and airport transfer as well as giving good local recommendations. Quick walk into Coron and up to Mt Tapyas. The family room had air con, a big bathroom and balcony. Good value for money.

No one around to check us in. The transport we arranged via the hotel to the ferry when leaving never showed up and there was nobody available to contact. Also price they charged for transport was double the going rate (we later discovered).

The host and her mother were the most accommodating and kindest hosts we have come across in our time in the Philippines. They were so helpful and considerate throughout our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were kept very clean at all times. The location is nice and quiet off the Main Street but also a very short walk to restaurants/bars etc. The host is happy to organise tours, transfers, laundry etc. and made it all so easy. I highly recommend staying here during your time in Coron.

The shower water wasn’t hot, but it wasn’t really an issue as it was nice getting cooled down. Just something to be aware of.

Great location, near one of the main streets. Very friendly staff who were also helpful when we wanted to extend our stay. We booked the family room for 6 to share 5 adults. Not the biggest room, but comfortable and air-conditioned with a fine bathroom. We were even able to use the hostel-rooms’ bathrooms as extra showers.

We had a very good stay in this establishment which is very clean, close to all amenities, very quiet and relaxing and many beautiful excursions are also available there. Many advantages that are rare around: silent air conditioning, small private terrace and private bathroom in the room for a low cost per night... The host was very welcoming and very kind and she did not hesitate to help us with any advice or necessary needs. She also makes sure every day that everything is fine and that if we need anything. Many exchanges concerning local life and experiences were a pleasure to share with her I highly recommend. Your stay will guarantee your satisfaction
