Some of the facilities in the room like the shower head are a bit outdated so it was a little weird to use. The sheets and the blanket had a weird smell and had some stains on it too.

It was very cozy and the room was so spacious; really good for big groups! The staff was very nice and accommodating, they always welcome you with a warm smile.

Place is spacious, clean, and good. Just note that it is literally in the “hillside” location, so you need to walk up in an inclined road. But its location is great and near to urbiztondo beach nonetheless. Also very near to famous food spots like Miryenda, Silong, Karruba Cafe, and few minutes or one tricycle away from flotsam & jetsam.

It was located at the top of a hill which meant a long trek up. It was nothing for us but may be tough for others.

It was excellent value for money. The family room we had was very clean and the aircon and toilet facilities worked efficiently throughout our stay. We were 8 adults sharing one toilet and I was worried it would overstress the toilet, but everything worked perfectly. We didn’t mind too much waiting for our turn because we were a close knit group.

the uphill, for a so not fit like me it's hard to walk go back and forth. It felt like were having a daily work out. It's not that we didn't like it. It's a short uphill anyway. :) Still great.

The restroom really needs an exhaust fan, otherwise, people need to open the door outside so the whole room won't smell. The dining utensils should also match the people that are staying inside the room. Having a controlled heater would be a nice addition as well.

The place is convenient as it is near the beach and away from the noisy main road. The room is also comfortable and has an AC. The caretaker was also accommodating.

For improvement: bathroom needs deep cleaning (toilet, floor and sink) with some chemicals to remove stains and urine smell, and the toilet flash needs repair. Then hopefully toiletries and towels will provided on our next stay. For uphill walk is nothing we can do. Going up is good for exercise and work on your lower extremities.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival they welcomed us. The room was spacious, bed is comfy (2 double decks and 1 solo bed - good for 5-10pax), available dining space&table, sink with plates & utensils. The place is good for family or group of friends to hang out. Good place to rest because it's located uphill and away from noisy areas. Lots of parking space for guests with vehicles. Place is nearby to everything, walking distance to all restaurants, Convenient store, bars, surf beach resort, ATM and other apatells/hostels. Friendly advise for commutets (new arrivals) in LU, 150php is the regular rate from Partas Bus Terminal going to 7/11 in front of Tagpuan Resto Urbitztondo Street to wherever your destination of resting place.

The one way street getting into the location is a bit of a hassle. No free toiletries would have been a great plus. The doors are a bit difficult to open.

We were really pleased with our stay at Lakayo. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. It is ideally situated within a comfortable walking distance to the beach and for visiting the restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The staff and owner, Kayo were very good hosts being warm and helpful during our stay.

The feeling of exclusivity. It is away from the high way thus we were able to sleep soundly. They have very clean rooms. They have dining set, pantry/kitchen area (although guest are not allowed to cook) and clean bathroom. The water for bathing is warm, just enough temperature to relax the tired body. They have very accommodating staff. The owner Mr Kayo is very approachable.

The owner and staff of the hotel were so kind to us that they came out to meet us on the day we arrived in case we got lost. He went back to Manila too early and took us to the station himself. The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. We'll be back next time.
