Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomAnother great stay at Kochimoto. Great comfortable bed, room and excellent breakfast. Very convenient location close to Victory liners. Will always be my first choice stay in Baguio. Ask about Jerry's great tours, I can highly recommend them.

United KingdomNothing.
A great place to stay in Baguio. Convenient for all bus terminals and all attractions are easily accessible. A great opportunity to live as the locals do in a homestay instead of a featureless hotel that could be anywhere in the world. Very comfortable room with the added bonus of a kettle and coffee. The breakfast are very satisfying if a little on the large size. The owner Jerry is very friendly and has perfect English. Yes, there are issues with the water at times. However, that is out of the control of Jerry and he has provided a solution to that problem. Just message him and he can resolve it. I took a full days tour of many local attractions catered individually to my interests with Jerry, I really enjoyed my day. I highly recommend him as a tour guide. He is intelligent, knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about his home city. He is also very good company for any solo travellers.

United StatesLoved the homey feel. The owners were very friendly, informative, and helpful. The room fans were appreciated 🙏. The room with the private bathroom and kitchen appliances was much better value for money than the room with a shared bathroom. Overall a great experience.

PhilippinesAvailability of water. Unfortunately, I am very dependent on water. I also take a bath early. There were instances that I have to text the owner to turn on the water and wait. I hope this gets resolved. This is the only issue I had during our stay. I was not able to use the wardrobe closet as well, but not an issue for me.
The owner is very friendly, responsive and approachable. The room has homey feeling. The floor and wall are made of wood so need to be wary of every steps in order not to disturb the neighbors. Additional points for the breakfast. The stay is worth the money. Also, the place is good for exercising 😁. The slope going and from the place is steep which is good for walking exercises.

PhilippinesVery helpful and amiable owners/staff. They were kind enough to help us with with parking our car (while there's a downpour), bringing our luggages, and lending us soap to wash our dishes, not to mention serving us breakfast and reheating our food. The room was decent sized, big enough to accommodate 4 adults. Hope they could make the cupboards unlocked and more functional ;) The matresses on the floor were comfy, and the beddings felt and smelled fresh (unlike some places we stayed for same price). The multi-socket extension cord was just perfect for our charging needs. In the bathroom, it was hard to adjust the heat of the shower, but a submersible water heater is also available. The owners offered to heat the food for us in their microwave, and we were allowed to wash our dishes in the bathroom. A parking space is available right outside their property, and we're able to fit our SUV there. We left our car and opted to avail of taxi services.

PhilippinesFacilities are very basic so if you are fussy about how it looks, this is not the place for you. But for us, we just needed a comfortable and clean place to rest and sleep so we were happy.
It is very near the Victory Liner bus terminal as well as other places in the Baguio city center. Convenient and had no problem walking to the places we wanted to visit. There is also a nearby carinderia/eatery, 7-11 and ihawan (charcoal grilling eats) so finding places to eat was no problem. Owner was very responsive so communication was fast and easy. Inexpensive so definite bang for your buck!

AustraliaI didn't see many places to eat around here but maybe I was too tired to go for a walk around. It's definitely close to the main road to catch a taxi/jeepney
Nice and quiet place to stay. Big room with kettle and cups, comfy bed, good WiFi and hot shower. The location is easy to find but in case you can't, you can contact the host.

SwitzerlandThe water pressure is sometimes not enough to get a hot shower.
The room is big and so is the bathroom. The location is convenient with a short walk to a busy street to catch a taxi fast. The owner is very hospitable, friendly and speaks very good English.

Breakfast and accomodating host 😊 Its a good place and quiet and you'll see fog outside the window too. Spacious place and theres a table specially we are both working remotely. Heater is working fine. Quiet place. Near to market and 7-eleven There's a laundry shop 1-2 mins walk away. Theres a little store where you can buy coffee or water or softdrinks or junkfoods. Strong wifi around 40-60mbps, should be good enough for us to work. Their breakfast is delicious thanks to Sir Jerry. They are so accomodating that they might let you use their kitchen if you ask their permission. (we did not though because were too shy and we are mostly awake at night) Highly Recommended! I dont have any photos but i took a pic outside window. Anyway what you se is what you get.

GermanyDue to the rainy and stormy weather (typhoon), the place was cold and drafty at night (below 20 °C). When going to bed late in the evening, I realized the blanket that was provided was far too small and thin. The water supply runs out at times, the owner will quickly fix that, but in the middle of the night? An automated system would help.
The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The place almost fits the price point. The neighbourhood feels safe. As there was strong rain, I could borrow an umbrella. For a fee, I could get simple breakfast and my laundry was done.

PhilippinesOnly the uphill walk when we want to go out. But, still manageable the uphill walk and think it just like an exercise.
The location of the transient is very quiet and far from noise. The room was very comfy and feels like home. The owner was very approachable and accommodating. The room has its basic needs such as dining wares and kettle which was very helpful since we have a baby and we like to have a coffee. Also, the bathroom has a functional heater.
