Too much noises ; We were upgraded for the first night because of maintenance but for the second night we had to move again ; we found some cat’s pee in front of our door in the morning.

The lady (I assume the owner or manager) was the most confusing person ever. She was very friendly yet extremely rude at the same time. Sometimes she would just ignore our questions and requests, even gaslight us and other times she'd be on it asap and be nice to us. For example our balcony got fixed within 2 days! Don't book any tours with them! They don't give you any proof (receipt or anything). You'll find yourself running around the place to get this eco certificate or whatever they call it. Eventually, she got it for us but we were sent from pillar to post for it... They claim that the starting time is between 8.30 and 9AM. This is not true. We only left after 10AM (apparently this is how it goes for most if not all tours). The tour itself was beyond disappointing, time management wise especially. Our guide didn't communicate well at all... The room itself was okay. The beds were not so comfortable but not too bad either. Luckily we had 2 seperate large beds. The water pressure in the bathroom was not great but do-able. We had to ask them to clean our room, so it is not done on a daily.

The location is great, you're in the middle of the hustle and bustle yet our room was quiet as it faced the beach. Beautiful view from the balcony! The guest house faces the busy street on the one hand and on the other it faces the beach, which is also the starting point of the day tours (by boat) by the way. Many restaurants and shops in the area. Also no problem getting a tuktuk from there. They also offer other services such as massages and mani / pedis (didn't try these). The amount we spent on this accomodation was decent and the room size was good. We each had a large bed to ourselves.

We booked our stay at this guesthouse from December 14 to 17. Upon arrival on December 14, we made sure to extend our stay for another night (until December 18) and paid PHP2,500 for a room with a sea view, since the room that we initially booked was not available on the date of extension. They confirmed and were positive that the room was vacant and that we could book in. Everything was settled and everything went smoothly, not until December 17 came, it was the day we had to pack our things and transfer to the new room (sea view). We were already prepared to move out before check-out time not until they told us the room we were going to use was not yet ready, since they ran out of bedding to use and had to call their laundry washer to wash old bedding. (That meant, we had to wait somewhere else since we could not stay in our old room since it was booked for another guest who was arriving soon). We had let this incident slide and just waited in the lobby (Good thing the beach view was great! which kept us occupied while waiting). After a few hours, our room was ready so we moved in. We headed out and strolled around the town, we were enjoying our last dinner in El Nido, when the receptionist called me, saying we had a problem and that we needed to rush back to the guesthouse since our room was already booked by another guest. Upon arrival, she told us that her niece had not informed her that she had booked another guest in that specific room! These guests were foreigners from Switzerland, he was accompanied by 2 kids. She was reasoning out, and even said they booked on December 16!! She even reasoned out that the kids were crying. They wanted a sea view room because their room didn't have any balcony or view!!! I looked at the kids and was no way near crying!! IT WAS SO UNFAIR!!! She had us transferred to a room without a view!! Not because they are foreigners and bring in more money, that does not mean you can do that to other guests!!

When we arrived, the staff at the reception was very welcoming. Before our arrival, I requested a room with windows, which they had given us during our stay. They were very helpful as well. They helped us carry our luggage up the stairs to our room located on the third floor.

The room is very basic but you pay for location and view. The room was small and so was the bed. The rooms don't get cleaned during your stay.

Great location and spectacular view!! Right in the heart of everything so you don't need to walk very far. The view from the beach view room was worth the basic accommodation facilities. Air con was good but noisy.

Our room had a window facing another building and without a view. I hope there's a clearer description of the rooms especially if you wanted to get an ocean view.

Brown outs meant no air con so it got hot. No hot water in the showers. During the day they have building going on around the room so too noisy to be inside during working hours. Very close to a night club and noisy till early hours at night. No windows to the outside so feels stuffy with no fresh air.

Central location to town. Reasonably priced compared to other accommodations.

Shower. It was too low. It doesn't work for tall people. Water heater didn't work, so we took cold showers using the bucket. We were provided with curtains that served as blankets. They have dogs and cats. When we came in, the reception smelled like cat poop. The resto bar next door was loud. We couldn't get a good night's sleep.

Location. Our room had the most beautiful view of the beach.
