Fan could have been a little more powerful. Location is on a very loud street and it was a little difficult to sleep unless you were drunk. Really loud motorbikes going by all night, not the fault of the hostel, just the truth about the street.

Absolutely wonderful staff and the people of Port Barton are the best from the dive shop to the restaurant Denmark, just had a great time.

There was no water for the shower and toilets had to be flushed manually from buckets. However, I think this is not uncommon in Port Barton due to a water shortage at this time of year.

Very homely, relaxing place to stay. Great value, I had my own room at the price of a dorm bed elsewhere. Drinking water provided and hammocks to relax in. Friendly and helpful receptionist.

Very thin walls, have to have luck with your neighbors! Lots of mosquitoes (glad I brought my own mosquito net) no running water in the afternoon and not the best/most stable internet connection but I guess that counts for all of Port Barton?

The staff is very nice, helpful and friendly. I had my own room (still cheaper than a hostel dorm), the bed was comfy, there was free water and hot water plus coffee.

The stairs up to my room were quite narrow and had to be navigated in the night to use the toilet. The street was very noisy with roosters and dogs in the night.

Really good value for money. Very basic facilities but does the job and the staff are friendly. It's within walking distance of everything, but not too noisy from the local bars and restaurants. I stayed in a single room on the top floor which was small but fine for a night or 2.

It can be a little noisy in the evening being near the roads but we slept absolutely fine with earplugs. Thank you having us 💛

Such a wonderful experience - the staff are incredibly caring and look after their guests. My friend was unwell during our stay and they brought her calamansi tea and medication to help, which was very sweet and much appreciated! The rooms were spacious and the chill-out area was lovely (the hammocks were great). Location was fab - lots of tasty restaurants nearby and walking distance to the beach.

The bathroom and showers could be better.

The property it was nice, good location and great places for rest in common areas with coffee and hammock. The staff it was super friendly and helpful. It was really good the breakfast and all the service!

There’s a water shortage in port Barton so everywhere you go you’ll be doing bucket showers but I didn’t mind at all! Only issue is not all windows in the room had mosquito nets over them, and the walls are very thin but overall a lovely place

So peaceful and relaxing, my own private room and a lovely balcony with a hammock. Great location and staff were so lovely, plus a great laundry service

Description of the "studio with balcony" is just a scam. Studio means an unit with own kitchenette and bathroom. Here you get small room with a bed and table only. Bathroom is shared on different floor (there's no info in room description about shared bathroom, even if it's possible to choose), balcony is outside of the room to use for everybody. On the lower floor you can make a coffee (if there's still hot water) so please, change your description as it's definitely not a studio what you offer!!! Window has no glass, just a mosquito net so everything what happens on the street may wake you up... also if someone is on "your" balcony it's just right next to your window. There's one man, one woman bathroom for 5 rooms so it might be busy in the morning. WiFi is quite poor.

Location is really good, hotel looks nice from outside, bed is comfortable. Price is not so high so it's acceptable... if only the room description would be real :)
