Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. PhilippinesBefore finalizing my booking, I tried to call the hotel h2o to check rooms that are connecting. But no one answered, tried calling 8-10x a day for 5 consecutive days, nothing. Called number from their website! (They should at least update their contact number) Since, I was not able to check the room type that has connecting, I just booked the family aqua room (5pax) and an aqua room (2pax) coz we're family of 9; 4 adults, 4 kids and 1 infant. Upon check in, I found out that family rooms are all in the 2nd floor and rooms that are for 2pax are on 3rd. This gave us a very HARD TIME coz our rooms were SOOOOO far from each other. Tried to request at least rooms that are in the same floor, but front desk asked me to add 10k for walk in rate to upgrade my room. So I just let my 4 kids, sleep at the family room with our yayas. while me, my husband and our baby on the 3rd floor aqua room. Our main reason to go to this hotel is for a family quality time. So thanks to the reservation for not answering my calls and to the front desk. We had to check time to time to our yayas if our kids are fine or sleeping comfortably even far from us. 😔

AustraliaThe long walk from our room to get anywhere! Also there was maintenance work being conducted near our room which was quite noisy and disruptive as it went until 10pm. However when we raised this with staff we were upgraded for our last night to a quiet area, and closer to amenities which was much appreciated!
We arrived early and were not only able to check in but also got upgraded for free! The room was large, comfortable with magnificent views of Manila and the bay. Staff were very efficient, professional and friendly. The bar was a great place to enjoy dinner with great staff!

MacaoArrived late night and is a bit hard to navigate due to closure of GF entrance, lack of lighting and directional signage. Room hardware was old (bathroom and no socket next to bed) and certain parts were under construction. Please do something about signage or have someone bring guest to the room as it was hard to locate room after long flight especially late night.

PhilippinesHotel security too lax - no guard in floor connecting to ocean park, no guard when we left the hotel, access door to hotel room wing is left open that park guests may easily walk through. No guard in parking area at night. Parking lot is far from the hotel Concierge lobby beside oceanpark stair entrance has no aircon, dirty, not well maintained. No exclusive restaurant for hotel guests. Makan makan is the common resto for all hotel guests and ocean park visitors. Elevator lobby has no aircon. Cable tv remote control in our room is not available. Housekeeping personnel said they have to buy additional remotes coz units are not enough. Location is far from convenience stores if you need to buy something. Surrounding area around the vicinity of oceanpark felt unsafe.

The hotel is located between luneta park and manila bay; close to intramuros, so that it is both, central, but also in an area with less traffic and relatively fresh air. The staff is very friendly and accomodating and the bay view from respective rooms is spectacular.
