This was our second stay at City Garden Grand Hotel after a great previous stay at the start of the year. Once again we were very happy. It even appeared the room we received this time might have had a bathroom renovation. The room was spacious, the breakfast buffet is an absolute feast with something to suit all tastes. While we didn't use it on this stay, we thoroughly enjoyed using the rooftop restaurant and bar (same level as pool) during our last stay. The view of the city is amazing from here!

The hotel staff treats guests with rare kindness. The room was cleaned every day, and the sheets and towels were always clean. The room, bathroom, hallways, and every area of ​​the hotel are beautiful and well-kept. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from a small shopping center with several restaurants and a convenient supermarket. We came from Italy and stayed for a week. Kudos to all the staff.

I think this is the most reasonable hotel in Poblacion. It's much cheaper than the hotel across the street and lacks nothing. The rooms aren't luxurious, but they're clean and well-equipped. The reception and other staff are very friendly. It's difficult to find a good hotel in this price range in Makati. I've stayed here twice and always thought it was a good city hotel that met my needs. The location isn't the safest, but if you're looking here, you're probably planning to spend time in Poblacion anyway.

The hotel is clearly used by young girls for you know what. Many were occupying the reception area and roof top pool later in the evening and at night, with the usual older western men occupying them or loitering ready to make their move. All this didn't always make for a particularly relaxing and family friendly atmosphere.

Large, luxurious rooms. Comfortable beds, hot showers etc. Lovely roof top pool. Friendly welcome and staff were excellent and very helpful all-round.

This hotel needs a house phone on each level by the elevators Room key lock malfunction and I had to go 26 floors down in athletic shorts only to resolve. Slow and unnecessary way to resolve the card key issue. The house phone could resolve that.

There are only three elevators and if your on one of the higher floors it takes ages to get an elevator. The rooms are a little dated particularly the bathroom curtains.

This is only applicable if you have a car - parking is terrible. The rump to get up to the car park is too narrow and the space provided is just enough to park your car. Need to give yourself time to get in and out of the carpark specially if your car is an SUV's or a Van. During our stays we decided to leave the car in the carpark and grab a taxi instead. The hotel offers valet parking for quests.

The Buffet breakfast was superb - the service staff was fantastic. Our room is clean everyday - thank you housekeeping.
