Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI was originally provided a different room without ocean view. I specifically told the hotel I want ocean view and I paid for ocean view.

United KingdomGreat location in Station 3 of Boracay!! Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, amazing sunset view at the rooftop pool area. The complimentary breakfast could be slightly better but the amazing beach view at the breakfast area makes up for it :)

PhilippinesWe had an amazing stay at Boracay Ocean Club! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful during the day, but with just the right amount of energy in the evenings, especially at their in-house bar. The buffet breakfast was also great, with a good variety to start the day right! Now for a couple of things to keep in mind: While we absolutely loved the calm and quiet of the location, getting to the hotel with luggage was a bit tricky. We had to drag our bags through the sand for about 3-5 minutes to reach the entrance. If you’re bringing heavy luggage (20kg+), I suggest asking around for a porter for 50-100 pesos. Also at check-in, there was a minor hiccup. They didn’t seem to have a record of my room request, even though they had acknowledged it in an email three weeks before. It wasn’t a huge deal, but better communication would make the check-in process smoother. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. These were just small issues compared to how much we loved the hotel. Highly recommend it for families or anyone looking for a relaxing yet lively Boracay experience!

United KingdomThe walk from the main road and up the beach to reach the hotel. Dragging a 25kg suitcase along a sandy beach after a long travelling day in the heat was not very nice for our party who are all fit and healthy, maybe measures could be considered for families and the older generations.
We stayed on the pool side. The room was spacious and clean and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The location was excellent and right on the beach front, with plenty to do. An ideal place if you love to dive.

CanadaThe room is aesthetically pleasing, but not very efficient. There is poor lighting in the bathroom and the lights protrude over the narrow counter so you bump your head on their edges when using the counter/mirror. The closet is unusable as it has a low hanging rail and a fridge and shelves at the bottom leaving insufficient length to hang even a shirt. The air conditioner on the balcony gave off so much heat that the balcony was essentially unusable. The nightly entertainment and music went on quite late and was very loud most nights. The pool area was overwhlemed with visiting youth not staying at the hotel on 1 day and many children staying at the hotel the rest of the time. Be warned that this is a popular family location. The food at the hotel was mediocre. There is no access to the hotel via road. You have to carry or arrange for porters to carry your bags almost a kilometer over the beach to get to the hotel.
The hotel is right on White Sand Beach closer to the south end (I think they call it station 3). They provide beach loungers and umbrellas and access to the ocean is good. There are a number of very good restaurants close by. The rooftop pool area is great for sunset viewing. The onsite gym is decent. The view of the beach and pool from our balcony was nice.

AustraliaHotel is 3 star rating maximum. Rub down, dirty/mouldy grout in tiles and shower. Lacking of attention to detail cleaning that you expect from 4star rating Very loud party vibes all day - music kicks off at 6am and turns off at 10pm. Not ideal when selecting a hotel in station 3 to be away from the party noise. Breakfast, average as stated by others. Not much variety. No paved road or transportation direct to hotel.
Great location and hotel facilities. Staff super friendly and beds very comfortable. On-site spa was great!

RussiaThere is no opportunity to get the very hotel by e-track or taxi so one has to walk with the belongings from the nearest street along the beach to the hotel entrance. I had a sea-view room on the 3d floor - there were no such necessary facilities as racks for towels and a soap case
The location is perfect: not far from the port and at the same time in the heart of nightlife, walking distance to D Mall and everything needed. The rooms in old buildings look at the sea, they are big and with balconies. The infinity pool in the top 6th floor provides the best sunsets as well.

FranceWe had 2 diferent bedroom during the week, unfortunatly no hot water, cr water leak in the first bedroom with pool private access. The second room (premier room) is much better. Some construction noise (driler) occured a few times. If you wish quiet place better not to choose bedroom sea view or pool access, music is strong at the bar.
Everybody was kind and caring. Beach access is a must. 2 swiming pool always clean.

CanadaBlasting club music all day. I feel like the drum n bass they blast at the pool and restaurant should be for upstairs club and not the common family area. Was quite annoying to hear from my room all day and night and I wouldn’t stay here again for this reason.

RussiaThe breakfast might be better. The music in bar on weekends is a mix of eurodance, tech house and other kind of low quality electronic music w/o any concept. I consider it is due to the asian listeners tradition, but changing a music
Situated at station 3, 10 minutes to walk to D MALL. Everything is very colse. Good Italian and Japaneese restaurants are near. Bar works 24/7, sun beds are provided directly on White beach. Bar personell is very open and affable.

United StatesLack of privacy curtains, you either had to use the black out curtains or nothing. The lack of hand rails especially around the pool areas. This is NOT the place for anyone with mobility issues. The loud noise in the room from the music being played at night. The music played is often inappropriate for children. The breakfast buffet was only just OK. All three restaurants work from the same kitchen, while the food was good, there was little variety between the restaurants. They use an antiquated punch key door system and only give you one key. The key must be inserted in a box on the wall for the electricity to work. If you lose the key maintenance must come to make a new one and they charge a fee of 500 pesos to replace.
The spa was wonderful! The room clean and well appointed. The staff was friendy and very professional.
