Aside from the location which is beach front, I really like how they welcome their guest and they stay consistent with excellent customer service. Every single one of the staff will greet you with a smile from day one until our last stay. Breakfast is outstanding, with their unli taho. They also have a beach bed where you can relax while watching the sunset. The pool is always clean. Room is spacious and clean. Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel is truly a standard setter. This is the second time staying in this hotel. Everyone should experience this kind of customer service. I will surely come back here.

I must say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. While the the location, facilities and amenities were impressive, what truly made my stay memorable was the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed with genuine smiles and professional service. Every team member I encountered — from the front desk to housekeeping and room service — went out of their way to ensure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. They were attentive, polite, and always ready to help with anything I needed, no matter how small. What stood out most was their personal touch It’s rare to find a hotel where the staff are not just doing their jobs, but are truly passionate about delivering a great guest experience. Their kindness and professionalism made a huge difference, and I am sincerely grateful.

The hotel is located directly at the beach only a few steps to the ocean. A lot of great locations and restaurants are around the hotel. The staff is very friendly and fulfills al wishes you have. The pool is clean and gets daily cleaned and sanitized. The hotel has an italian restaurant “Don Vito” where you can eat very good. I can only recommend this hotel.

There need to be more fruit options for breakfast. Some of the food was cold (eg pasta). The cocktail drinks weren’t particularly good when we watched the live band.

The music on the property was too loud if you turned in before midnight! Even with ear plugs, it was difficult to drown out…. We enjoyed the music while awake however.

It was a delightful stay from start to finish. They met us with refreshing fruit drinks and some music & cultural dance upon our arrival! Everyone was friendly & willing to please! The food in the restaurant was amazing and plentiful at the breakfast buffet! There was live music with songs that we recognized from 60’s through 80’s or more; they were talented trios mostly. We arrived after 2 flights and about 26 hours of flight time so turned in early—our only complaint was trying to drown out the music that lasted till almost midnight with ear plugs to sleep. D Mall as a couple blocks away to the north west and had anything you wanted….lobster & seafood! The Mandarin Island hotel provided transportation to & from the airport RT at reasonable prices (van, boat & second van). Then our private beach hopping excursion with Gretchen was awesome the next day. We departed on the third day feeling like we saw everything we needed to see! Beautiful Island and lovely accommodations!

Five days vacation is not enough.

We did not expect to have an impressive upgrade of our suite to a honeymoon suite with a beautiful welcome sign on tv screen, welcome sign on the plate of a chocolate cake and a canopy king size bed with a seahorse towel on top of the bed with rolled eco bag, pens and a unique welcome note. Our bathroom has a jacuzzi type tub, and we have a private pool and a veranda with beach lounge chairs facing the beachfront. Upon landing to Caticlan Airport, we were picked up by a Mandarin shuttle with exceptional driver, then a speedboat, all to ourselves, and then another van to drive us to Mandarin Island Hotel. A big welcome surprise awaits us when we got off the van. A very warm welcome from the General Manager Marlon, Guests Relations Manager Israel and the Mandarin staff performed a nice welcome group dance while we were given a cold face towel to freshen up and a delicious fresh cucumber drinks. Perfect for the warm sunny weather. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. All the staff placed their hand on the left chest when they greeted “good morning, good afternoon, hello Ma’am/Sir.” So touching and so personal. We enjoyed the daily Breakfast Buffet served at Don Vito Restaurant. All the staff on this restaurant are professional, helpful and attentive to our needs. This hotel is in Station 2, where the center of the fun and activities are. Beautiful and clean beachfront with beach lounge chairs and umbrellas to relax and especially to watch the amazing sunsets every evening. Conveniently located near many restaurants, gift shops, market and other tourist attractions. Our daily activities were very good and enjoyable. So thankful for the help of Israel, the hotel’s guests relations manager like Land Tour, Island Hopping with a lunch buffet, and the fun Sunset cruise. I would definitely return and stay in Mandarin Island Hotel. Highly recommended to my family, relatives and friends.
