Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyUnfortunately all the neighborhoods are plenty of dogs and some of them are using to stare into the are of the b&b. So sometimes during the night some of them can disturbing barking aloud for a while. For my daughter was a nightmare to stroll alone because of them
Directly on the beach, it’s a nice area to relax. The area for breakfast is really nice and tables for having food or drinks on the beach.

United StatesOn my last night local neighbor's dog was crying late at night because was left outside. But once it cried itself out, it was O.K. It will get used to being outside so won't be a matter going forward.
The staff is the best and really make the experience over the top great. The owner Emily is very nice and accommodating. Restaurant staff, hard working Jinky, super cute server Marisal, helpful Regene, the people at the barbecue are all so great. BTW, the barbecue is excellent. The marinated pork ribs was pretty close to the best food I had in three weeks in the Philippines, super tasty. My room was the garden view room, they did have rooms facing the beach, but I was still not but 10 meters to the beach. Super stay at Besaga !

United KingdomThe service here was a little slow. Drinks and food took a while to arrive but I think you have to adjust your expectations to the location - this is a laid back, sleepy beach village in the middle of nowhere. Not everything needs to be done at great pace. The food was good for the most part but the waffles were dry. The pizza was very nice and portion sizes very generous. The staff were nice enough but not overly friendly as I've experienced elsewhere in the Philippines. Also, don't expect your room to be cleaned, as it wasn't. Maybe this is different if you stay longer than 2 nights. The WiFi was patchy but again, what's to be expected in the middle of nowhere?
The location was perfect. Walk out of your hut onto the beach. The room was good value for money and realistically as clean and comfortable as you'd expect for it's location and price. The sheets were clean, the shower was hot and the air con was cold. You can't really ask for more than that considering it's a hut on the beach in paradise. Also, the room actually was very well protected against bugs and mosquitos (although my partner disagrees on this...).

PhilippinesPerhaps a small improvement could be made to the bathroom, but everything was functional and clean overall. It would have been helpful to have a toothbrush provided, as I usually brought all our other toiletries except for that.
We had an amazing stay at Besaga Bed and Breakfast! The accommodation is very affordable, and the restaurant served delicious food with large portions—ideal for sharing. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the day, and the beachfront location provided breathtaking views, creating a perfect setting for relaxation. The staff was highly attentive, promptly addressing all our needs. I was initially a bit concerned that the nearby bars might disrupt the peaceful, quiet atmosphere we were hoping for, especially since it was a family trip with my parents. However, it turned out to be much more tranquil than I expected, and we enjoyed a very relaxing experience. It was a pleasure meeting the owner, who truly made us feel at home. It was also wonderful hearing stories from her, especially since my parents had lived in Port Barton before and enjoyed reminiscing about the good old days they spent there. We're definitely planning to return this year! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

SwedenLimited selection for breakfast. No safety deposit box in room. We had difficulty finding the hotel as the sign at the road wasn’t very clear and the gate in front of the parking lot was closed.
Excellent location right at the beach. You can have your meals outside if you like. We had our own house with a veranda. Small hotel with a very relaxed atmosphere close to nature.

The beach front accommodation is so relaxing! Also happily surprised to be given free seashells necklace and cold welcome drinks. The hotel personnel including the owner were all nice, accommodating and responsive to our queries. They have transpo pick up and drop off to Port Barton terminal from the hotel but we didn't know earlier thus we weren't able to avail of it.

CanadaRooms could use remodeling. Wifi and cellular signal basically non existent. Beach chairs very uncomfortable. Constant dog barking and roosters going off all night, so very hard to sleep, which is not what I expected of staying right on the beach (ie. was hoping for a tranquil getaway, instead was kept up all night by noise)
Beautiful beachfront property. Super attentive, pleasant, and helpful staff. Cute puppies hanging around the property to hang with. Cool to have your own little hut and balcony. Powerful fan and AC in room.
