    El lugar tenia mucho encanto. Vimos unos amaneceres preciosos desde el balcon que da hacia el mar. El personal era muy amable, especialmente Cris que nos ayudo en todo lo que pudo.

    La cabaña familiar tiene un aseo, pero la ducha esta fuera justo en la misma zona comun de asientos etc.

    el sitio muy bonito, en una playa con palmeras y el personal muy amable. el desayuno de Lola buenísimo.

    reserve una cabaña triple privada,entendiendo que dos personas entraban al precio que era. Bastante caro para la relación calidad precio, ya que era un hostel con baño compartido y con pocas comodidades y cuando nos recibió nos dijeron que teníamos que pagar una persona más..

    Dear Ana, Thank you for your comment. We would like to respond to some of the things mentioned. Yes, it’s true you have booked a triple room. However, your booking was only for one person. When you arrived at our place, you came with a stranger, without telling us in advance. When we mentioned to you that you are the only person on the booking, you challenged us to say you put two people. We had to prove to you that in fact, you only put one person, yourself. We kindly agreed to your request to let your friend stay with you in the room, and to only charge her 300 pesos, when in fact, as she was considered as a walk in, we should have charged her for a completely new booking for a separate room Therefore, we believe that we were not unreasonable charging her 300 pesos when she had no booking and you didn’t inform us that you were going to bring an extra person with you. As per our policy, only guests who are booked online are allowed to stay in our place. We do not allow strangers as walk ins, we did a favour to you yesterday, as a matter of politeness and consideration.

    Nada. Como mucho, por valorar algo bueno: Flaki, uno de los trabajadores que además es artista y se ve buen hombre

    El dueño Jonathan, que es el único que puede gestionar checkin y excursiones, no está allí, lo que dificulta todo y toca esperar tras cada pregunta que le hagas al staff. Cuando llegamos esperamos 1h exacta por el dueño (tras un viaje de 5h). Para alquilar moto o coger excursiones hay que hablar con Jonathan también. Los trabajadores no gestionan nada. En nuestro caso la excursión llena y no pudimos ir, y la moto no la pudimos alquilar por los papeles...solo nos pasó aquí de un viaje de 1 mes x filipinas. No desayuno. La zona malisima, para ir al centro hay muy mala comunicación y no te llevan todos los transportes. Si alquilas moto la carretera fatal justo en esa zona. El hotel peor de lo que parece, los perros ladran toda la noche (imposible dormir) y cerca hay un bar de playa que pone musica toda la noche y tampoco ayuda. Si en algún momento el sitio estuvo bien, ahora desde luego no es un sitio aconsejable.

    Hello, Thank you for your comment. We would like to take this opportunity to respond to some of the issues you had raised in your review. 1. Communication: We have communicated to you as soon as the booking was made through booking.com, requesting for you to clarify your estimated time of arrival and if you required a pick up from the airport. We have not received any reponse from you, until you arrived at our place, at which point our staff contacted us straight away and we came to receive you. We disagree that you waited for one hour, as our own home is located only 10 minutes away from the guesthouse. 2. As we are owners, we are the main persons who organize check in, excrusions, to make sure that everything is done in the right way. However our staff speak very good English and for any guest request they contacted us right away and we respond immediately. We have a telephone on site, fast internet, all you had to do was to contact us directly through the number outlined in your booking. We have spoken to you about the tour and motorbike, as soon you made the request. We have motorbikes for rental, however BY LAW we are required to request a full driving license from our guests, before releasing, just like we are required to provide a helmet, and make sure that our guests do not use any illicit drugs. Without a valid, physical driving license card, we are not allowed to rent out motorbikes to any foreigners or local guests, as we can be held liable and pay a fine. For you to drive a motorbike without a driving license in a foreign country is completely irresponsible. As you could not produce a driving license to us, we had to refuse the rental. Next time, please familiarize yourself with the local law. WITH ANY EXCURSIONS, SERVICES, DIVING WE AS A BUSINESS MUST FOLLOW THE LOCAL LAW. 3. The excursion- swimming with whale sharks- which you requested was unfortunately booked up completely on the day that you wanted to do it. We have contacted the tour operator immediately after your request and we have offered an alternative day, on the following day to you, which you refused due to your flight constraint. In addition, upon our communication that the tour was unavailable, you then directly communicated to the tour operator, who confirmed our information that the group tour was unavailable on the requested day. 4. Breakfast was not included in the price of your room (we never offer any breakfast in the price of the booking, please check your booking correctly next time) but we do have breakfast available on site for an extra charge. The breakfast menu was in the folder which we presented to you upon your check in, as well as clearly placed in the bar area. Our staff is on site to prepare the food from early morning and you could have communicated to them if you needed one, which you NEVER requested. NEITHER HAVE YOU EVER COMMUNICATED ANY BREAKFAST REQUEST TO US. 5. Roads, public transportation, local area and other businesses, dogs are out of our control. You are in the Philippines, which is a developing country, therefore many facilities in the cities and rural areas are not the same as European standard. The bar which is mentioned in your comment is positioned around 400 meters away from our place and again, we cannot control what they play or how noisy they are. They are a separate establishment. Just a piece of advice, for next time you decide to travel to such country as ours: we really recommend keeping an open mind and being reasonable, or choosing a 5 star resort instead. In addition, as you were the person who booked our place, we would like to recommend for you to learn basic English communication. Even though The Philippines were a Spanish colony 400 years ago, people here are excellent English speakers, and as we move forward in times, it is expected that English will continue to be the international language around the world, so we hope you can also move forward and become more open minded. Do not be embarassed to communicate with us.
