Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Had a very nice stay! The dorms are very comfortable, big, calm, clean and private. The bathrooms are enormous. It's a beautiful hostel, located right in front of a 7eleven :) Also the people working here are very sweet. They even kept my luggage for a few days.

PhilippinesI love that there is a pool in this place and it does not even feel like you are near the highway. The idea that I could also run from the location to the beach. On top of that, their beds are wide and comfy, they provide you with 2 pillows, towel and a face towel along with the toiletries. The location is pretty much at the right place, across theirs is 7/11, beside is a place to eat, across are vergetabele stand and bakery. I met the owner and was able to talk to him. Kudos for keeping the place the way it is 🤍

ArgentinaThe bad reviews don't know what they say. Place is clean great shower and bathroom 🚻. Just would have liked a buffet breakfast instead of ordering the one next door.
Great place to stay, amazing rooftop views, good breakfast. The only thing is that rooms and beds have a weird layout, but you get used to it. Next to a good number of places to eat and near a gaisano mall. I totally recommend this hostel, It was the end of the so i had the entire hostel to myself.

PhilippinesAbsolutely amazing! Everything felt super luxurious, which was surprising given the low rates. I slept in a capsule bed and was very impressed with the showers, bathroom, and separate makeup room (with hairdryers) and dressing room. The pool courtyard and lobby were gorgeous. The rooftop bar didn’t seem to be open while I stayed there. The location was also perfect, super easy to catch mototaxis, tricycles, jeepnees, and buses. Walking distance to several shops, right across from 7eleven, and next to a great restaurant with delicious home cooked meals.

JapanI arrived late at night and they accommodated me appropriately. The facility is very new and the water pressure in the shower was good.

Brand new hotel, cleanest place I’ve stayed in the Philippines so far! Super friendly and attentive staff. Booked a dorm originally but they kindly put me into a private room with a bigger bed because I’m a big guy. The shower/ bathroom facilities were the best I’ve had in a hostel/shared accommodation. Right next to a 7/11 and a food court around the corner.

A really nice pool and the accommodation. The bathrooms and shower were very clean. The dormitory wasn't full and it was quiet.

PhilippinesThere was a strange smell in the CR which I didn't quite like. There's no elevator so guests with big luggages will find it hard to drag their things on the stairs.
Accommodating and considerate staff. I originally booked for a capsule bed but the staff moved me to a dormitory room which I occupied by myself because she's worried that I might feel uncomfortable with the noise of the other occupants in the capsule bed room.

CanadaThe location is not great. The closest public beach is fairly close (5minute tuktuk or “tricycle” ride for 15-20 pesos) but I felt very out of place as a solo tourist amidst all the locals and no bar or restaurant. The beach wasn’t that nice and I felt out of place, plus it’s 100 pesos entrance fee. Go in a group and bring your own food and drinks. Be prepared for the fee. Also, be VERY careful walking around the area of the hotel as there’s no sidewalks because traffic is driving on them. I think best to travel anywhere by tricycle ride or taxi. Very very nice building but location is not great unless there’s something specific you want to see there.
Staff offers exceptional service!! Building is newly renovated; gorgeous facilities and very easy to find. The showers are lovely and the water is hot with great water pressure. The shower heads are awesome!! Super clean!! Everything was very nice including the cafe (open early for those who need their caffeine or smoothie early in the a.m.). The rooftop bar is a nice touch!! This whole place is really very nice and comfortable. I would easily give 10 stars however the location is not ideal.

ItalyThis was the worst experience in my trip in the Philippines. I booked a bed in the dormitory and the confirmation from Booking.com indicates "dormitory" but I found a horrible frontal capsule in korean style. The Lady said and will say that I booked what is shown on the picture. Is this normal? In a contract the word (dormitory) is more important than a picture. Furthermore the picture is not clear. It looks like a lateral capsule and this makes a big difference with a frontal capsule. No way to explain this to the Lady. I Just want to know exactly what I am booking without these confusions. I had to go away and loose the price of two nights. We have the right to know what we are booking and Booking.com ought to indicate clearly "capsule" or "dormitory". The worst Is that this confusion about the word "dormitory" destroys somehow the faith in the system of Booking.com itself and such a hostel will be responsible for it because it looks like a fraud.
