Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesNothing, everything is good. Do not mind the roads going to the resort since that's just a small thing. What's important is that the location is really safe and the room is huge and it's cozy!
The only place I will stay when visiting Panglao. Ditch those expensive hotels. This is the bomb! Location is nearby fruits stands and other establishments. The owners are present and they are very approachable. They really made us feel very special. I love their place actually.

United KingdomNothing!
We loved our stay. The hotel is beautiful and the owner is so lovely. The pool is a huge bonus, it’s a nice size and available to use all throughout the day. Our room was a great size, aircon worked perfectly. Took us a while to work the heating with the shower but other than that no problems. Our room was cleaned in the morning if we wanted which was great as we stayed here for 4 nights and it can become uncomfortable with the sand. We would recommend getting a ped as it’s a bit far out from the beaches and restaurants plus any other transport is quite expensive!

United KingdomIts not their fault that the road to the hotel is bumpy and many potholes , however the owner has taken actions to fill the potholes and assisted us to get a trike.
The location of the hotel which is near to Alona beach by tricycle, easy to get a transportation and food delivery. The room is very clean and pool is refreshing. Very quiet , only can hear the sound of birds and cockerels , really felt that you are in the province.

CanadaCould use some shelving in the bathrooms for space to lay out toiletries. No separate pool towels, and the room towels were crunchy (probably because they're line dried which we certainly appreciate). Bedroom TV mounted on the wall was a little too small for our aging eyes to watch from the bed 👀. They provided a soft pillow on request but the standard pillows (and mattress) are firm foam and not our preference.
Highly Recommended Small resort with two floors of walk up suites. We had a spacious one bedroom suite on the second floor. Very clean, attractively decorated, and well maintained. Two couches (one is a sofabed) in the living room with pillows and a big coffee table. Large smart TV. Dining table for 4. Front balcony with table and chairs. Well equipped kitchen with large fridge and gas stovetop (no oven, but they did provide a toaster oven which I used almost every morning). Lots of cupboards. Easy to cook here. Large bedroom. Two nightstands, each with two shelves and a bedside lamp. A clothes rack with hooks and shelves, wardrobe with hangers and drawers, plus more drawers under the bed. Plenty of space for a long-term stay. Many thoughtful touches like dimmable lights in living room, a large area rug (perfect for doing floor exercises), drinking water dispenser including a cold pitcher in the fridge, kitchen towels, and a clothesline on the rear balcony. We particularly liked the availability of bins for recycling and composting food scraps. Decent wifi and a big smart TV in living room that supports common video streaming apps such as YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon Prime etc. (it also came with a cable box for some local channels I think but we never used it). Can lounge poolside on chaises in the sun or under canopy for shade or rain. Small pool is perfect temperature to cool off, not too cold. In a quiet semi-rural area, but close enough to amenities. Ten minute walk down the dirt road to the main road (or they'll call a tricycle to pick you up). Grab is also available in Bohol now and was our preference (lower cost and nicer ride). Fely and Colin were terrific. Friendly, helpful, and very attentive to our needs. They responded immediately to a few requests we had and provided service beyond our expectations.

United KingdomSuper friendly and helpful hosts. Quiet area. Room was fantastic, everything a traveller would like in a room. Large, spotless, great hot shower, comfortable bed, fridge with decent priced minibar, safe, hanging space, aircon and good ceiling fan, table and chairs and a balcony in front of the rooms with another table and chairs. Pool with loungers, small bar, water dispenser and easy to book ferry tickets etc from here. 20 mins walk to Alona beach or motorbike rental. Just to touch on the access road. Sure it is unmade and bumpy but I have seen a lot worse. You wouldn't really want to pull suitcases along it if walking as it takes 10 mins to walk it but otherwise OK.

ItalyThe house is in a quite area and not in the center that is a little noisy. You can walk 10minutes or better rent a scooter and drive by yourself. Scooter is also a good way to explore Panglao island and join beaches and other interested places. Rooms very clean and spacius with confortable beds. You can use swimming pool as you like also in late evening. The lady owner is helpfull and very kind. Ask to her for what you need. She help us to reserve boat to Cebu, for laundry service and tranfer. In the room you can find coffee maker and a frigo.

CanadaThe road from the resort to the main road is not paved. So it's very bumpy. At night, that road is quite dark. There are no street lights, just the lights of the houses and resorts. I carried a head lamp when walking. I saw other tourists carrying flashlights at night.
Room and resort area very clean. They even clean the aircon after every guest. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. There is no karaoke on site. The staff are approachable and helpful. It is located in a quiet, local residential area with only a few resorts. The pool water temperature was perfect. There is a personal sitting area outside the unit where guests can smoke. The water heater for the shower works. The fridge mini bar items are affordable. It is walking distance to the busy main road where you can find food, groceries, pharmacy, etc.
