I've traveled in the Philippines for years, this is the best resort I have been to. It exceeded my expectations in every way. The restaurant was so good that I returned every day. I was able to sleep peacefully and take a dip in the pool every morning 🌅. I plan to return on my next vacation.

Though the beach is close, the road is abandoned, sometimes there are dogs walking here and there, so might be scary to walk alone or in the evening. I don't understand why adjacent hotels doesn't care about it at all. Yes, it's not your territory, but a good road and lights, absence of litter here and there will make everything muuuuch better.

The room is quite big, the beach is close and usually you can catch tuk-tuk driver right at the exit if you wait a couple of minutes, so no need to walk to the village centerl.

Shine was very helpful and informative! All the staff were very welcoming, even provided us with welcome drinks and a cold towel. The restaurant was also great - best mango shrimp salad I’ve ever had! They also allowed us to have a late check out for a very reasonable fee.

This was by far my favorite hotel to stay at in the Philippines. Yes, the entire country. The people here were incredibly accomadating making sure all of our requests (transportation, room maintenance, food orders at the restaurant) were fulfilled. The rooms have excellent air conditioning and have a stove to cook your own food if you would like. I loved everything about this hotel from its location to its comfortable rooms, and its very nice pool.

Every business owner has the right to run their business the way they choose, I fully understand. But I was uncomfortable with the requirement of a 5k cash deposit taken on arrival and then the passive aggressive signs telling you not to do things in the room, each of which included a ‘ penalty fee’ if you did them. Equally, once you book on booking.com with your credit card, you then discover that you can’t pay by credit card and have a series of instructions telling you how you must pay in advance. In MY view, this diminished my enjoyment of the stay. I probably will not return because of this.

Comfortable, well equipped large room in a peaceful location walking distance to the centre. Lovely gardens and small but delightful pool. Great craft beer in the bar and restaurant.

Air con unit in bedroom needed to be on due to heat at night but it blew directly onto the bed and could not be adjusted so made it a little uncomfortable, however we would stay here again given that.

Location is great, quiet at night ,a lovely boutique hotel with excellent swimming pool and facilities. Staff are very helpful .Restaurant service was great also.

Felt a little out of the way at times because the road to the beach wasn’t lit so made it a little more tricky to walk there in the evening - however being slightly further away from the busy centre was also a positive for us so depends what you’re after.

Lovely spacious room, really clean and had everything we needed. The whole resort and pool area was great and really quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the resort was great, good food options and a nice vibe if you didn’t fancy walking anywhere.

The payment method! Nothing major but I paid through PayPal the full amount as was requested but had to pay a small fee again as PayPal had taken a fee for its service! Nothing major though a straight forward payment by credit card through booking.com would have resolved that issue!

The resort is like a gem, beautiful, clean and room I stayed was spotless, massive and very comfortable. It has a lovely pool to relax and bar and restaurant to enjoy in the evening.
