We stayed at Villa Honu Legends for 10 days with our two boys (ages 6 and 8), and it was absolutely incredible. Booking was simple and the payment was safe and secure. From start to finish, communication with both the host and the local guide, Jenny, was excellent. We felt well taken care of the entire time. The directions to the villa were clear and easy to follow. We arrived a little before the official check-in time, so the villa wasn’t quite ready yet, but we were able to leave our groceries there, which was really helpful. A quick tip: pick up groceries at the Champion supermarket near the ferry before heading to the villa — it’s about a 35-minute drive, and the selection is much better than smaller markets closer to the villa. As for the villa itself — it was extremely well equipped, especially the kitchen. We weren’t missing a single thing: blender, toaster, pots, pans, utensils, cups, everything you might need. It made cooking so easy and enjoyable. The bedrooms are on the smaller side but perfect for a family. We were thrilled that the second bedroom had two twin beds — not always easy to find, but absolutely ideal for our boys. The AC in the bedrooms worked perfectly. The bathroom setup was also great — the toilet is separate from the shower, which makes mornings much easier when everyone’s getting ready. The shower even has a beautiful view! But the real showstopper is the deck, overlooking the stunning lagoon. There’s a jacuzzi, an outdoor dining area, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. Jenny, the local guide, was amazing. She helped us find a place where the kids could go for a few hours so we can enjoy one kids free day, responded quickly to all our questions, and made sure we had everything we needed. We were also able to request additional cleanings during our stay (around $100 per cleaning), which was so convenient. We had a truly unforgettable experience and can’t wait to return!

2 cockroaches, kind of far from a good snorkeling beach. The fitness center was kind of trashed. Lots of rules.

Great view. Excellent working appliances. Quiet, open, but with an Air Conditioner option. Binoculars for whale watching! The hot tube was nice! The keypad to get in was handy. Snorkeling gear was nice. Store within walking distance. Pretty central location.

Several bulbs out. Some doors did not open. No English TV even though the guide says it does. Pool was closed. Jacuzzi is not heated and cold.

There is nothing not to like.

Everything about Villa Honu is great. The location, the facility, the equipment and most of all the VIEW is just fantastic. Thanks to Marc for being a good host and Jenny for keeping the villa clean and managing it! Hope to be back soon!

The property is in a gorgeous location overlooking the sea. It is very tranquil with every amenity you could wish for to have a relaxing stay. Jenny was exceptionally attentive too although we didn’t have cause to need her during our stay. I could highly recommend this place.

It was a bit tricky getting out of the parking spot and we learned it was much easier to back down to the main road than to try and turn around. You are up on a mountain with incredible views so this was a very minor detail we experienced. Once we figured it out, it was really not a big deal.

We loved our experience Villa Honu. The property is lovely and the location can't be beat. We enjoyed making meals in the modern well equipped kitchen. We had great communication with Marc and Jenny. We loved our vacation to Moorea and felt this property fit our needs perfectly. It was super comfortable, well decorated and had incredible, stunning views of the ocean. We did not use the A/C much and preferred having the sliding glass doors open with the screens so we could hear the ocean. We would definitely stay here again...it honestly could not have been more perfect.

We are traveling a lot but I must say Villa Honu was definitely one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been. Very clean, well maintained, equipped with all you might need and that view! Stunning! Evening relaxation in the jacuzzi was a must. Location is great, close to the beach, but it’s more comfy when you have a scooter. Manager Jenni was very kind and helpful with all our needs. Thank you Villa Honu for an excellent service and beautiful memories :)

EVERYTHING! Location - view amazing. Close to everything! Space - indoor and outdoor - private soaking pool used every evening and inside villa so clean and anything we needed was there. Host response and information sent in a timely manner and property mgr Jenny was there to greet us and fast response through WhatsApp was fantastic!! I would highly recommend. We would love to return!!

Nothing. The house exceeded my expectations.

We had a wonderful stay for 4 days in Villa Honu. Everything was 100% - the view, the amenities, cleanliness, proximity and most of all the property manager - Jenny. She kept in touch with us since we landed in Moorea and met us at the property on arrival. Gave us a home tour and welcomed with a fruit platter. That was so thoughtful of the host as we were super tired after the flight and ferry. Normally we don't bother the host but this time, I think I messaged Jenny everyday :). She was very responsive and even helped us in booking a boat tour in the last minute. The house is true to the description and the actual view is better than the photos. My husband and I used to enjoy our morning tea sitting in the patio and watching the ocean before kids wake up. The location is very central to multiple beaches. We went to 3 different public beaches on different days. The plunge pool is very good to relax at the end of the day. The host even provided us with beach chairs and snorkel gear. That is very handy as we enjoyed hours of snorkeling every day. We cooked every day and the kitchen is very convenient. The laundry facility is awesome. Overall, we had an excellent stay and can't wait to go back. I really miss the house and the view. We made such beautiful memories so thank you March and Jenny for your hospitality.
