Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesAir conditioning, lift from ground level to elevator, lighting in hallways.
Basic accommodations conveniently located and visible from airport exit. It says walkable but longer than 10 minutes and uphill. Also, if traveling at night there are dogs on adjacent property that may be loose and sound large that bark through the night. Path is not very well lit. Also, when located on any level, there are stairs to get to a base level in order to use the elevator which is difficult if you have heavy luggage or a lot of it. That being said rooms very very clean, hallways and common areas as well. Air conditioner in one of our rooms was not enough for the size as we had a family sized room. Efficiency accommodations at best but you will not miss your flight!

New ZealandShower pressure and temperature wasn't the best.
The main attraction of this hotel is its proximity to the airport. It couldn't be much closer. Despite this, it was very quiet. Nice fluffy towels. Beds very comfy. Very clean. Cold AC. Friendly staff.

AustraliaThere are no services or facilities directly outside the hotel, such as bars or restaurants. You may need to head back towards the airport for food, ATM machines or drinks at a bar. This hotel is near the airport, not in the centre of Papeete, so you may need to take a taxi (or bus) seven kilometres into central Papeete for bars, restaurants or any sort of nightlife or sight-seeing. There is no room service or minibar for your convenience, and the breakfast buffet seemed very basic and minimal, with no hot food that I could see, just tea/coffee and cereal, so I did not avail myself of this service. But, overall, given the close proximity of the airport, I would stay here again, and having a staff member on duty 24/7 was a nice feature.
This is a 'transit hotel' for passengers using the nearby Tahiti Fa'aa Airport. It's certainly close to the airport and you can see the hotel perched on the hillside when you walk out of the airport terminal. The hotel is a couple of hundred meters away) but it is reached by an extremely steep and winding road. People will tell you it's a walkable distance, but given the steep uphill climb, it can be a very difficult walk if you have much luggage. You can take a taxi, but please be aware that MANY taxi drivers throughout French Polynesia do not take card payments - many accept cash only. In regards to the room itself, it was basic but clean. It is nothing like the OWBs (over-water bungalows) advertised at expensive resorts throughout the islands of French Polynesia, but it is nowhere near their astronomical prices, either. Apart from that, I appreciate greatly that this place has a staff member on duty at reception 24/7. That helps with any teething problems when settling into your room on the first night, such as when I could not get the air conditioning unit to turn on and cool my room. The female receptionist came to the room very quickly and fixed the problem for me. The window to my room also had a view of the airport, with pastel waters and sailing boats behind it in the background, which was nice.

SerbiaLocation: it is across the airport, 10 min walking distance. With a lot of heavy bags you should take a taxi. In case you don't carry much, you can make it walking. Way up is a little bit heavy, but way down is ok. It's a good hotel for one night while you are waiting for your flight, especially for late night flights.

United StatesNoise isolation could have been better. There are late departures and early arrivals and we could hear them.
The room we booked was as large as 2 standard rooms, with one king bed and 2 beds (not sofa bed) for the children. Location is perfect to catch a flight from PPT airport. Very clean room and common areas.

United StatesThe access walkway that was recently paved between the hotel and the main road leading toward the airport is blocked. That makes the quick access longer since you have to walk an extra 3 blocks to get to the airport on steep terrain.
The location is perfect for those needing quick access to the airport, which is just 200 yards away. Although; I would recommend taking a taxi due to the steep terrain. (it's about $23.00)

New ZealandThe convenience of the motel being open 24/7 to service the airport, does mean that it is slightly noisy as guests check in and out of rooms throughout the night. Facilities are minimal within the rooms.
Location is excellent for access to the Airport. Easy to access by car or by walking. The motel is very clean with friendly staff, fully air conditioned and the rooms have big beds which are comfortable. Flight noise is minimal. Supermarket located a short 5min walk away which is handy.

United States"Across the street" is a bit more than it sounds. WAY UP and across the street. Take a taxi to get there unless you have a bit of mountain goat in you. You can walk back to the airport since it will be downhill. It's not that I "didn't like it," it's that it is the only thing that is negative - you just can't walk right to it. Wait. There is one negative: if you are not youthful or not strong or not athletic - the hotel is on the side of a mountain - ask for a room on the first three levels. You will use the elevator to go as high as the 3rd floor but you have to hump your bags from 3rd to the fourth (but it is on street level if you decide to walk to the airport).
Across the street from the airport. The rooms are very nice though basic. Beds are first rate. Bathroom is perfect. The rooms are well-designed. The AC is great - you could hang meat. Pretty nice view out the windows (I've only stayed on the 4th floor)
