Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Great location. Hotel is homey and a lot of staffs are around to help. Like the breakfast and set up. They have a domestic alpaca within the hotel as pet that you can interact anytime.

South AfricaThe only issue that I had was the outside noise in the streets but it wasn't the hotel's fault. There was a celebration and I happened to be staying on the road-side of the hotel.
This was a great stay in Cusco. The breakfast was beyond good - amazing spread, fresh juices, teas and lots of interesting Peruvian options too. Lots of activities at the hotel to try e.g. Weaving, tours to the market etc. Helpful staff. We could leave our luggage when we went on our hike. Lots of thoughtful gestures - hot water bottles and delicious treats on arrival.

PhilippinesThe property said that an airport pick up would be arranged with my name written when we got out of the airport. We were the first off the plane, even after all other passengers had already left the airport, there was still no sign of my name or a hotel pick up vehicle. It was after a few more minutes being outside in the cold that someone came by shouting my name, he did not even have a sign. He was supposedly a car hired by the hotel to pick us up. 🙁 We also informed the hotel that we will be leaving early for aguas calientes and if we could have our breakfast to go, which they confirmed. On the day of our early departure, we had breakfast bags to go. When we opened it later on during the trip, what they packed was an apple, a passion fruit, dry crackers, water and candy. No utensils, no napkins. I thought maybe a sandwich or an empanada would have been better. Food orders took a while to be served. Even during breakfast when there were little diners around, on 2 occasions the staff even forgot to serve our order of eggs.
The property had a variety of activities offered for in-house guests, which was nice. The ambience was very nice. Welcome chocolates were provided in the room. They had a rescue alpaca, Kiki, which they kept in the premises, as an added attraction.

United StatesOur room was facing the street and unfortunately, that meant we couldn't open the balcony doors (no windows available) as the noise and a smog from cars was too much. The light from street lamps was also very bright and the curtains weren't dark enough.
The hotel is very close to Sam Pedro markets and about a 10 min walk to Plaza de Armas, which is close to all the restaurants you would want. The hotel is cute, has good breakfast, and an adorable alpaca to pet.

United StatesI had one day in between my reservation as room showed unavailable. I was leaving one day early and because I paid the Bookings reservations, no edits could be made by hotel and I paid for an extra day I didn't stay. No discount was offered when booking the middle day.
The staff was responsive and they provided warm hot water bottle in your bed every night along with hot water in thermos for tea. The restaurant was nice, food fresh and breakfast included home made omelettes and pankcakes as requested.

BrazilI booked this hotel to see the alpaca they had, but didn’t know it would not be available on our free day (it was not available on Wednesday). I thought the alpaca stayed ate the property and we could see at any time but it was a scheduled visit, which I was not aware beforehand
It was relatively well located and facilities were good. But the room was not so well sound proof. The staff gave us hot water purses for the cold, which was lovely.

United StatesThe one negative was tepid water in the shower, not even warm, that was very disappointing. I did ask they look at and it did not change anything.
The location was good. Not far to walk to the main square and San Pedro Market was right there. I liked the little touches like plenty of drinking water, a welcome chocolate and hot water bottle. The staff, especially restaurant staff were great I wish I could remember their name. The breakfast had great variety, fresh fruit, egg and waffle/french toast selection, juices and coffee. Had a couple of choices of soup also and sandwiches. I had to leave very early one morning so they packed a small breakfast.

United StatesHaving to wait to check in to room when we arrived at 7:30 am at airport. Another issue was the hotel promised to have a driver pick us up, we responded to their request for flight info, but it turns out it was sent from an email that did not allow responses. So, we were left at airport wondering where our driver was. Hotel promised to pay for our taxi back to airport, but failed to do so.
Loved the provision of hot water bottles for the bed! Good restaurant on site, coca leaves for tea provided in lobby.
