Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe only problem that we encountered was with checking in after 5pm when no staff is present at the front desk. We had a little confusion with the keys and ended up in the wrong room the first night, which wasn’t as nice as the one we had booked, but wasn’t a big deal since we were going straight to bed. We sorted it out in the morning and enjoyed the rest of our stay.
It was clean and had a simple but adequate breakfast. The host was easy to message through Booking and was very responsive. It was a good location and the host even arranged for our pick up at the airport.

United KingdomWe were really happy with the place and would definitely stay again. The only thing worth mentioning is that after 5pm, check-in is self-service, and when we arrived, the lock system wasn’t working. Luckily, our taxi driver was still with us and was able to help. Otherwise, it would’ve been tricky since there was no one around.
Located in Miraflores, this place is in a great spot with plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was simple with limited options, but everything we had was tasty. They also offer the option to arrange a private taxi to or from the airport, which was convenient and reasonably priced.

CanadaVery nicely decorated rooms and common areas, and well located in Miraflores - walking distance to restaurants and to the coast. The host is also friendly and helpful, and let us check in early when we arrived in the morning. Would recommend for a stay in Lima!

United StatesA hidden gem in Miraflores — cozy and perfectly located! We ended up at Pucllana Boutique almost by chance, as we had a lab appointment just two blocks away. We saw the hotel on Booking and decided to stay one night — and it turned out to be the best decision! The hotel is small, modern, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. It has a cozy, homey atmosphere that makes you feel right at ease. The location is excellent — right in the heart of Miraflores — so we were able to walk everywhere: we had a delicious lunch at Chifa Wa Lok, went shopping for groceries and chocolates at La Ibérica, and I even managed to get a facial. Breakfast was fantastic: freshly brewed coffee, yogurt with fruit and granola, eggs made to order, bread with butter and jam, fresh orange juice, and both regular and coconut milk options. Everything was fresh and nicely presented. The staff was very kind and helpful, gave us great tips, and even allowed us to check out late at no extra cost — a much-appreciated gesture! I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

TaiwanNo.
This is a small and cozy place, and the owner has really good taste in decoration. The shower had great water pressure and heated up super fast—which isn’t always easy to find when traveling in South America. Breakfast was made with care, and I stayed for three days. The neighborhood is really chill and felt totally safe to walk around at night. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lima!

Lovely B&B in a beautiful house. Central location in Miraflores and a short walk from Kennedy Park. Our room was very spacious and spotless with a big comfortable bed and overhead shower. The breakfast was tasty and included eggs, bread with butter and jam, cake, cereal, yoghurt and great coffee of course! The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

NetherlandsThe reception closes at 5pm so when we arrived we were all alone. It didn't feel like a warm welcome. The communication with the owner was mainly through written messages. We would have liked to see her.

DenmarkThe bed was quite short. If you advertise a smoke free hotel do also enforce it. We had booked it specifically for this reason, but experienced twice people smoking in the patio, which we could smell in the room.
We liked the room and the common spaces. The breakfast was good too. Helpful staff.

New ZealandWe absolutely loved this accomodation and it definitely exceeded our expectations. We had big suitcases so booked the largest room, The Deluxe Double Room, and it was perfect for our needs. Pucllana has been tastefully decorated and in our room there was a huge and comfortable bed, the shower was fantastic and to top it off we enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning. The owners and staff are lovely and super helpful and it's located in a quieter area of Miraflores. It was still close to cafes and restaurants and other attractions including Huaca Pucllana which was only a 5min walk away. This accommodation really helped make our stay in Lima a good one and I would absolutely stay there again.

United StatesWow! Friendly staff, delicious breakfasts, great location, our stay at Pucllana was amazing! We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in the door, with the cozy spaces, including the kitchen/cafe area and salon area to spend time in, all with fresh decorations. We enjoyed the breakfasts of fresh squeezed orange juice, local fruit yogurt parfaits and eggs, cheese and breads. We appreciated the super comfortable beds and upgraded shower and bathroom overall. The location worked perfectly for us, we felt like we were in the center of everything we wanted to see ~20min taxi to Museo de Oro, walking distance (~15min) to Museo Amano textiles, big grocery stores (Wong) massive Inka Plaza open air market for great gifts, blocks from the huaca Pucllana archeological site and great restaurants, including a 30min wlak or short taxi to Larco Mar and the Costa Verde ocean view promenade. There’s even a yoga studio, Casa Munay within a few blocks. For this great price, we will be staying here again on our next visit!
