How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The rooms on the front side of the hostel can be very noisy as there is not much separating you from the main road of busy loud traffic all night - the furniture in the room was practically shaking! But the second night I stayed my room was much quieter
Very easy, convenient, friendly and caring staff. Great value for a quick nights sleep before or after Lima airport

A little cold in the community areas since the architecture is open at the top.
Perfekt Location when you are only in Lima for a stopover.

Unfortunately the pigeon nestings on the roof result in a bad stench outside the rooms. It's mild inside the rooms but can't open the windows or it will be worse.
Very close to the airport. Rooms were relatively clean.

I was very glad there was an exterior photo posted, because I wouldn't have guessed it was a hostel from the outside. I was very glad to have noise cancelling headphones because there was quite a bit of street noise.
The location is super close to the airport, which was perfect to sleep as late as possible before my 7am flight. Checkin was super simple. The guy working there was so friendly & accommodating! I got lucky enough to have a dorm to myself, the bed was comfy, and there were plenty of outlets.

The area is pretty dodgy, especially at night. The window of the room opens out to a road with heavy traffic, so airing out at night is not really an option.
Simple hostel close to the airport. Friendly staff. Beds were comfortable and larger than normal hostel bunk beds.

The area is not the best to walk after sun hours , the streets are very empty , even the main avenue, it's better off to definitely grab a cab or Uber to get there after 6:00 pm I would suggest. There is noise from traffic, that was another downside since the hostel is right in front of a main avenue.
The location is near the airport, about a 20 minute walk at a decent speed.on a main avenue, great for those who are looking for something like a last minute reservation request specially if you are arriving late to Lima.

There is no window in the room. If I don’t turn on the light, the room is dark.
This hostel is close to the airport so I can walk to 20 minutes to go there.

I landed in Lima late at night and did not want to go downtown. I preferred to stay at this hostel to sleep for a few hours and leave in the morning. The reception is always open, the room was clean and the bathroom ok. For one night more than enough! From there you can then take a bus that takes you comfortably to Miraflores and other areas.

The photos seem to be old as the place is a little bit run down. The corridor right behind the room was noisy. Not many toilets for quite a few people.
The location is very convenient as it is quite close to the airport. The breakfast was a nice surprise.

The location was really useful as it was close to the airport but also was right on the main road so could hear traffic from the dorms which wasn’t a deal breaker but was quite loud sometimes
Comfy beds and nice communal area, pool table n fusbal were great and kitchen was well equipped also had free drinking water which was a big plus. Staff were really nice friendly and helpful, we arrived at 2am and the man at the desk made sure we settled in quickly n smoothly which was much appreciated

The ground floor dormitory was super noisy. Is just a metal door direct to the main road, so better pack some earplugs
Super close to the airport, if you have a long layover or need to catch an early flight is a great deal. Close to shops, grocery stores, restaurants.

Though its near the airport.. Its still the same as satyong away from the airport. Uber in lima is expensive

The staff members were extremely helpful and friendly! They helped us with directions into the city, and had a lot of good info to provide. The rooms / bathroom were very clean. There are lockers and a refrigerator available, and shower towels are available for rent (4 soles each).
